Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

I would keep off the weird conspiracy theories

The U.S is not coming back, it's not in the regions interest

This is happening because after the defeat of the U.S, Afghanistan has supported terrorism against Pakistan and it's now facing the consequences of this stupidity

Yes, but what about unintended consequences? I’ve been hearing about a planned regime change in Afghanistan for weeks. I’m sure the Taliban also heard about it, which may explain their rushing into Modi’s 56” embrace.

Many here are advocating for the Northern Alliance to be installed again. Zalmay Khalilzad is their big boss. What do you think they will do? Invite the US military to protect them. How do you stop that?

Looks like they need to "refurnish" their designated caves one more time. The would need them badly. However, unlike the CIA, the ISI is cognizant of their "zip codes" and "google locations"....

One more point
This conflict is between The Pakistan military who want to control Taliban

The Taliban are currently in New Delhi ..

This will get very messy because the Indians can make serious financial investment in Kabul and Taliban ..to ultimately create a very powerful third strategic front

Line of control Army
Arabian sea Indian navy
Afghanistan ...Proxy espionage

Most crucially denile of strategic depth and we all.saw how your lack of strategic depth was exposed so vividly on 10th May

@F.O.X

and as always india bet on the wrong horse.

Brother Fox, may I share a somewhat more nuanced analysis. During Cold War, IND bet on the wrong horse (USSR) while PAK backed the winning horse (West). However, after Cold War IND ingratiated itself to the West while PAK fell out of favour. Now, IND has again chosen the wrong horse (USA) vs PRC while you have chosen the winning side. I won't be surprised if somehow again after stumps, IND gets on the right side of the winner (PRC).

Coming to AFG itself, IND first backed the Soviet backed regime in AFG but after the Muj came to power, IND again got into the good books of Muj. In the post 2001 chaos, IND backed another wrong horse (NA) while you guys backed the Talibs. Now see where we are.

So, while IND invariably chooses the wrong horse, it comes up trumps every time by luck (sadly the horse on which IND rides invariably meets a rather sad fate)

Regards

You give India too much credit. Yes, Pakistan chose the right side (the Americans/West) which made the fledgling state of Pakistan survive and even a bit thrive at times. Pakistan's 'defense' guarantees Pakistan's sovereignty and much of defense infra is due to Pakistan's alliance with the West.
However, unlike India, Pakistan is very, very unfortunate to have a long, porous border with The Cancer of Asia which has 40 million people. You Indians should count your blessings! Imagine what would they do to non- Muslims if they are like that to their Brothers in Faith!

Dealing with the Taliban, the right way

we need to avoid killing their civilians only. Make sure every last TTA and TTP feels pain. Consistently. While still avoiding any civilian.
