Although there could be more, I’ll mention two things that in my view led to the Taliban going against Pakistan.

1. Lack of economic support. Pakistan may have provided some, but probably not much, being almost bankrupt itself. If even FATA is crying for lack of funds we can be sure Afghanistan got nothing.

Afghanistan is a war torn country that has suffered 45 years of occupation and destruction. The least that could have been done was to create a fund by Muslim countries to rebuild it. Maybe even $10-20 billion would have helped a lot, which is nothing for the Arabs.

After WW2 the Americans created the Marshall Plan to rebuild Germany. To this day the Germans, who are 1,000 times more violent than Afghans, have stayed America’s puppy dogs.

2. The internal political situation in Pakistan with the overthrow of the PTI government has led to a break in relations with the Afghans.

We need to keep in mind that the connection between Pakistan and Afghanistan is the relationship between the Pashtuns on both sides. Otherwise, we don’t have any particular relations with the Tajiks, Hazaras, etc. When the Pashtuns in Pakistan became disillusioned with Pakistan it would have had a negative effect on the Pashtuns in Afghanistan.

There may be other reasons, but in my view these are the top two.

This is the reason to attack; something is bigger than that. TTP been attacking for the last 10 years, now the intensity is low compared to last 10 years ago.
Because in last 10 years half of that time US was there and the other half pak military was busy with politics 😂

This was the Afghan parliament in 2019. We helped get rid of them and brought the scary ones into power.

Maybe, we should have made an arrangement for the US to leave while the civilized ones stayed. It’s just another one of the long list of missed opportunities.

during the PTI govt did the taliban suddenly accept the durand line lol?

or was there relative peace because the tban who just got into power had to sort their own shit out first?

is literally everything as a result of pti or no pti lol?

PA needs anti-drone and drone detection systems.

We need a mix of options including kinetic, man portable, vehicle mounted and static units.

The backpack units saw some success in Ukraine but eat up battery really fast and offer no protection against fibre optic drones.
