What are the goals then if you dont want to finish the job, you want to pinch the enemy and declare victory? Afghan Taliban apparently requested ceasefire several times but rejected from our side, clearly there is a desire to finish it all off. You cant be doing that by dropping some mortars and quadcopters or ATGMs , thats Hamas/Hizbullah level shite!

I personally think after APS Children massacre Pakistan Should have went full war mode on Afghanistan. which did not happen!
