Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

Essentially this. Going forward they're a permanent thorn now and being medievil savages, will constantly keep sending their men to fight and die against us. They'll also side with India to bring in heavy weaponry to threaten our forces.

Regime change is a must, though I can't see it happening.

Regime change is tough and will lead to more bloodshed. It's important to empower the Tajiks, Hazara, Uzbeks and Turkmen. None of us would like to live under such savages why should these folks?

PAF targeted some HVTs hiding in that building. In other videos, 2-3 floors of that building ate completely on fire. The journalist himself said that 'foreign Mujhahiddin' were given shelter there

We were only cheering for them because the Afghan Taliban were the least evil among all choices we had. At least that was the perception. It turns out that the Afghan Taliban are also Afghans after all.

Don't trust any Afghan is the new motto. Afghans irrespective of allegiance are an enemy of Pakistan. Just like we don't discriminate between Indians, the same applies to Afghans.

Yeah dont change one taliban for another. **** haqqanis. Make a Afghanistan policy and stick with it. Any terrorist attack in Pakistan by Afghans mean Kabul/Kandahar is also bombed. No matter who rule.

This war is all about 2 things. First is the Bagram air base which was refused by
the Afghan Taliban and the other is Asim Munir's extension.

If Asim can remove Taliban and Americans can get Bagram then they will
support Asim's extension. Just like they supported Musharaf when he handed
over 2 bases to Americans.
This war is not about either of those suppositions.

This is simply about stopping the mass murder of Pakistanis (civilians and law enforcement) by foreign funded terrorists.

Why do we give a hoot about Bagram? Asim Munir already has his extension. FGS, stop this silly conspiracy nonsense. They don't *$*&%#@ need American support for "extensions". Things are done on the merit of the situation on hand, on the ground. What can the Americans do to stop a CoAS taking reigns? Not a darn thing. We have seen that happen with every single military take-over.

This is binary. No grey area. Afghans are aiding those who are killing our fellow Pakistanis. The state has to act.

Sorry to say but your misguided conspiracy theories are the stuff of Pakistani folklore. Looking for shadows when there are none.

For that we first need to find an Afghan govt that accepts the Durand Line. It seems no matter who you bring on, this is something they never accept.

Oh Bhai, the Durand Line is not the real issue! The Mullah Umar regime of the 90s, the Karzai regime of the 2000s and the other regimes before them or after them, including Ashraf Ghani, had never recognized the Durand Line either but this particular version of the Afghan leader in Kabul are too stupid to make peace with Pakistan. They are probably emboldened by their 'victory' against the Americans and so want to give their brothers, the Pakistani Taliban, a chance to claim some Pakistani territory to establish similar version of 'Sharia'.
Why do keep forgetting that the ultimate demand of the Pakistani Taliban is to grab significant part of Pakistan's territory just like their (stupid) brothers have done in Afghanistan?? So what's to negotiate with or for when it comes to the Pakistani Taliban???

Can someone please clarify the difference between Pathan, Pashtoon and Pakhtoon?

What's the difference between Pashto and Dari? I am assuming Pashto is spoken in Pakistan and Dari in Afghanistan?

I am considering learning basic Pashto so I can understand what's being said in the videos that get viral on social media.

Pathan, Pashtoon and Pakhtoon are exactly the same thing. Different names for the same ethnic group. The word 'Pathan' is more often used in Urdu while the people call themselves 'Pashtoon' or 'Pakhtoon.' That's why the province was named Pakhtunkhwa. Pashto is the language of the Pakhtuns.

Dari is an alternative name for Persian (Farsi) that is used in Afghanistan. Persian is the official language in three countries:

1. Iran, where it is called Farsi.
2. Afghanistan, where it is called Dari.
3. Tajikistan, where it is called Tajiki and uses the Russian alphabet.

In Afghanistan Dari is the official language, like Urdu is in Pakistan. All/most Pashtuns in Afghanistan also speak Dari, like Pashtuns in Pakistan speak Urdu. Pakhtuns are a majority in Afghanistan, although there are more of them in Pakistan. The Taliban are mostly Pakhtuns which is why Pakistan supported them.

Urdu itself is a hybrid mixture of Indic/Persian/Arabic. In everyday conversation it inclines towards Indic, but in formal speech it becomes heavily Persian/Arabic. Persian speakers find it easier to learn Urdu than Pashto and Urdu speakers find it easier to learn Persian than Pashto.

I knew from day 1 in 2003 these talibs were retarded for going all in with OBL and AQ. If Pakistan had firmly closed its border to them like now NATO would have massacred them.

There was no PAF action as far as all the reporting shows. UCAV action but nothing done by crewed aircraft.
