Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

What your calling for has already been implemented across the world, and hasn't silenced anyone, it only brews extremism. You really think silencing people will make Pakistan stronger? The state might back you now, but what about when it does not. The very policy you are calling for today will be used against you and your family. So before you call for anyone else's family to be drowned, try it yourself . Calling for people to be thrown out or stripped of documents is not strength. It is cowardice and cruelty. Hurting someone for having opposing views, is exactly what the terrorist your fighting do. Wanting rights for your people is not anti-state. Pakistan was born from people who disagreed with the rulers. If you think disagreement equals treason then you would have opposed Pakistan’s creation. Praising Saudi-style suppression is just ignorant. The same country who disappear scholars speaking against it's secularism, who has been massacring it's Shia populations, and anyone who speaks against it's actions in Yemen. And idk what USA you live in, but largely the concensus is getting involved in the Middle East was a mistake, and the current US President won in 2016 with this point. Unity is not built by fear or by crushing voices. A country that silences its own people has already lost to its own cowardice.
it might have been. But I thought sometimes the state has to force a bit of a hand to get people to go in the right direction......people many times do not look at the whole/big picture and only think of their immediate petty issues (sort of like having a tunnel vision).
During times of peace, I do not mind and perhaps agree with people exercising their rights and demanding facilites from the govts/state......but if you're having issues at the borders and active threats from hostile enemies on 2 borders, such things should take a back seat. Why provide enemy chance to strike in a public gathering?
However the govt should take care and do what's best to provide people with the basic necessities (healthcare, education, clean water, shelter and food). Take care of our own and not spend/dwell on refugees who are hostile and hate us.
Any/all traitors working on behalf of enemies do not deserve any leniency (once there is credible good proof).....

This is easy to disprove by simply looking at who innhabited Iraq under Sassanid rule, before Iraq was incorporated into the Rashidun Caliphate. It was Arab tribes.

Such "big" claims shouldn’t be thrown around so casually.

Babylonians and ancient Egyptians used to speak Arabic?

Talks are meaningless, unless you have a bargaining chip.

My proposal: Wakhan.
While everyone is thinking Wakhan is a low hanging fruit
Let’s think a little.

You could do it today by using heli based landings of SSG to take posts and using
drones to cover the narrow defile east of Ishkashim, jamming Taliban comms and softening outposts near the Oxus River’s headwaters. Simultaneously, either another heliborne insertion or even C-130s could parachute in a light infantry battalion(are they even at any readiness for paradrops??) atop Keyghobad Pass, cutting off reinforcements from the south. Artillery teams emplaced on rear ridgelines and airstrikes would punch precision rounds at any Taliban positions spotted below, while engineers rapidly breach minefields along the Lake Chaqmaqtin axis.

So yes - in 48 hours you could “take” Wakhan but then what?

TTA can mobilize local Badakhshan militias and leverage chinese built roadworks to interdict Pakistani supply lines. Internationally, China and Russia have cautioned against violations of Afghan sovereignty, while Islamabad’s Western partners are weighing sanctions after civilian casualties reported in Kabul.

Even if Pakistani troops garrison the few dozen miles of rocky ridge that separate Wakhan from Tajikistan’s Gorno-Badakhshan, there’s zero modern road or rail. You’d be looking at hundreds of millions in mountain tunnels and highways just to move anything more than a handful of containers.

Turning Wakhan into Pakistan’s next Karakoram Highway would be a decade-long, billion-dollar white elephant and that’s assuming all your neighbors say “okay” and don’t demand a cut of the tollbooth.

Which is why Pakistan need Afghanistan policy and not involve in to regime changes. If Pakistan taking out Taliban benefits ANA so be it. But next regime will also be bombed if they dont stop sending terrorists.

Who is state to update anyones software? Who gave them this right? Ye mulk bas software update aur vigo daalay ke liye banna hay?

Fazlur Rehman is right. At one point, whether Taliban are in power or not we have to have some sort of settlement with Afghanistan. You can airstrike them and destroy their posts as much as you like, this will ultimately not go anywhere. Final solution will always be talks.

If you need bargaining chips, and Wakhan is not suitable then find something else.
