Welcome - I've been waiting for your inputs on this thread. And Yes ban this guy. Many here think that all of Pakistan is one big DHA with docile tribes waiting for crumbs to fall from the table. I think Pakistan is doing a fine job in trying to engage in diplomacy because on the other side are the Indians and their Afghan allies just waiting to convert the battle into a Pashtan vs Punjab/Sindhi war. There is a very obvious reasons why they are laser focus on KPK. They are being encouraged by Indians - and have been since the 40s. I 100% advocate turning IOK in an insurgency that will drawn in the Indian army and much of their resources from all over India to fighting a vicious war in a harsh terrain. But Pakistan would need to stand ready to resort to tactical nukes on the Indian side as soon as they see any of the Indian strike corps moving into position to assault Pakistan proper (borders irreverent as the Indians never cared about keeping the fighting local to Kashmir).
The Indians strength needs to be sapped just like how the Soviets bled in Afghanistan, the Americans in Iraq, and Pakistanis being bled in KPK.
Thank you and please see my previous posts.

The Indians do indeed have a nuisance factor, but their bluff can be called by maintaining the pressure on the Taliban

Once as a broad polity, within Pakistan, there is a common understanding on the threat and havoc caused by the Taliban, and the pressure persisting will be easier.

will the Indians really do much if the Taliban cannot emotionally blackmail Pakistan? So you could ....maybe... theoretically call their bluff.

The key point is, the principle of respecting international boundaries and allowing no haven for antagonism to Pakistan is just the starting point.

Pakistan needs to negotiate a way to have ingress for soft power, the argument being that Afghan society is so poisoned against Pakistan this has to be done.

Tajik and rest of pakistan have same nature moderate and progressive and they dont care about Durand line (main source of conflict) .
Let's say this is currently true. Does regime change guarantee stability in Afghanistan, or does it mean instability that will spill into Pakistan?
And more importantly, what happens when the nature of Pakistan changes in the future? Does that mean another regime change needs to happen in Afghanistan?

i agree but after his arrest u can see he has become much more anti army and his followers have naturally become too ( to point of attacking you own regular soldiers ) , i don't think i have to explain how that is bad for Pakistan . he has to stop his anti army rhetoric and work with them
Would you work with your jailers, if you were unjustly imprisoned?

I wouldn't. I would fight tooth and nail.bfrankly, he's been a lot more cooperative than people give him credit for. The fact he remains in prison, despite various offers, makes him one of the few political leaders in Pakistan that actually believe what they say.

why does pak even tolerate such traitors , if they love Afghanistan soo much exile them

We have a large number of remnants form the disastrous policies of the last 30 years, of trying to appease the Taliban and Afghan again and again.

The only gaps when we made the right decisions, were 2014 - 2017 and now 2023-2025 (and hopefully, insha Allah, onwards). Afghans are just not gonna give up on Durand line and there are a lot of sympathisers on this side who support them for self gains, well knowing what the end goal of Afghans and Taliban is. From Pakistan's POV, any appeasement is pointless.

Expulsion of illegal Afghans is the first good step (though we should exclude Shia Hazaras, as they fully support Pakistan and will just be killed by the taliban if we force them back). Next should be 100% control and monitoring of borders. With that, rooting out such symathizers will become very simple and in many cases, they will lose their power automatically.

we always backed pashtun afghan against other group in Afghanitsan, we should give a try to Tajik/hazara as they are more progressive people and have no issue with Durand line, and also because of India -taliban alliance they are not pro india anymore.
