As far as I have read opinions on internet and some other forums, major concern in Pashtuns about this conflict is not that we are one country or we should allow afghans to do whatever they want or KPK or fata should join Afghanistan. But the major thing is anti establishment factor which says that this is being done due to US pressure to get back Bagram Airbase. And we are being used..... Why they allowed TTP to resettle in these areas..... This is all a game etc etc etc.

GHQ should have a mandatory course studying this history, the specific kind on insurgency and counters. Its a critical part of national security for Pakistan.

I have a proposal. The Pashtun lands in Afghanistan join /or if the rest wants/. Joins Pakistan. KPK can become Afghanistan. They lay their weapons down - infact whole region becomes deweaponized. And they start business, go to schools, access hospitals etc. Instead of running a militia they can run political parties and fight PTM to rule the new Afghanistan/Khyber.

There you go Brothers united, no more Durand line. Access to Pakistani citizenship which they use to go abroad. This is much better no? Kandahar to Peshawar motorway. Under the army protection and also the ability to join Pak army if they really love fighting.

Challenging another state on a de facto border isnt sensible. This is. Afghanistan uses Pakistani currency so might as well. Also this is how United States expanded westwards. Afghanistan infact will benefit alot from this arrangement esp Afghan people.

First and foremost, followers of Islam particularly in nations where population and govt. cling on "Islamic" values or "Islamic" laws as basis of their actions should first start practicing Islam in spirit (and in hearts and homes)
