I am hoping AHQ and PAC figured this all out beforehand, there are some clever people there. I suspect however maybe we just did not anticipate the massive interest after May 2025.

Anyway, if there is real money to be made, China will profit handsomely so sure they will step in

It's a 50:50 marketing JV. in any case depending on the order of number of aircraft it is normal that it would take between 2-4 years to complete. There are no off the shelf stocks available. The supply chain has to be very effective and efficient.
Right now there are 2 customers with confirmed orders.
PAF
Azerbaijan

Never thought we would have this problem, but say if just 2 companies now place an order for 40 jets each. how do we make 80 planes quickly?

Chance that we may actually lose credibility here by selling something we cannot deliver (in a timely manner)

There is a natural "throttle" on the client side where it will take them time to train pilots, build up the physical infrastructure, building up logistics and support lines, modify airbases to support the jet, enhance comms infrastructure, develop tactics etc.

While this is happening, deliveries can happen to transition over a squadron at a time which is the delivery and induction window. Azerbaijan is a good example of this.

So, I don't see things being an issue as PAC was originally sized for 2 lines at 50 units/year and they then scaled back all that infrastructure to just 1 line. They can bring on line the 2nd line if required( I don't think it will ever get to that level though).

It's also very important to provide strong after sales support to fix defects or other issues. The Russians are not able to sell their commercial aircraft because of poor after-market support.

J-35A was unveiled at the 80th VJ Day Parade on September 3, 2025. Its export version might be called J-35AE, with Pakistani AF expected as the first customer.

Source for this?
Bhai, you don't need source for thi.? What new thing does it mention "Pakistan AF will be export customer" that we already don't know?

It is given and 100% certain that Pakistan will be one of the first export customers of Chinese 5th Gen jets.

The real question is, how many, when and with what other systems will J-35s be procured.
