I think at that time it was pretty much a done deal, if Establishment don't want him to release that info he would not have done that, as for J-35's they will come and most realistic approach what i think is that PAF already knows they can take care of IAF with additional J-10CE, which are coming as confirmed by PAF not long ago. As for IAF getting Su57's if IAF put a order lets say in a year or so, PAF will get J-35's as a counter to them. But I believe Pakistan have to come out of that reactive mindset, Pakistan is trying to become a net security provider in ME, we can't do that with just JF-17's, F-16's and 20 odd J-10CE's, we need high numbers of fighter jets, AD systems but again it all comes down to our poor economy which is mostly due to 2 of our states are seeing a hi-low intensity insurgency, we need to end that and bring some sort of normalcy into Baluchistan/KPK because right now we are not even working to 25% of our potential.Ah yes, I remember, was a slip of the tongue by him! The way things are rapidly changing in middle east, I won't be surprised if at some point Israel air force will come face to face with PAF. And I don't want PAF to be just relying on JF17's when IAF is flying F-35's.100% agree on this post. Now we have Makkah agreement a strategic deterence against Israel will soon be a PAF operational requirement, and maybe indeed a PN operational requirement

That's a very interesting thought, but i bet Israeli Air force must be monitoring the movement of PAF and Iranian delegation, and there might be some weird stuff going on in the air over Iran. Its a bit off topic but after seeing how some Iranian members were insulting Pakistan despite that their entire current leadership owe their lives to Pakistan and PAF, if not for Pakistan their entire negotiating team would've been killed in air before they landed back in Tehran, it really disappoint me.Yeah, and who even knows what happens that we never read about? Like when we had J-10Cs flying over Iran escorting their leadership, would be very surprised if PAF AESA radars did not detect interesting things during the time....
Cringe overload. Our AC is quite the opposite of humble which is unfortunate BUT it was under his leadership that PAF overwhelmed and humiliated the IAF against massive odds. In my experience even in a workplace, the efforts of good workers amount to nothing if poor leadership sets the wrong direction. He deserves due credit and a bit of slack for that. Note that next door they have a total joke of an AC who failed miserably, lies shamelessly and yet I don’t see them give him even a small fraction of the criticism we give Sidhu.
That's exactly the culture that is being cultivated now. TCing / self loathing. Only criteria of promotion. Unbelievable we'd see such downfall of an institution., Sidhu sb has a whole wall dedicated to himself. Half of the program the CO was praising the chief.
