Pakistan Air Force | News & Discussions

One thing Pakistanis love is rumours, which funnily enough is the name of the secret sports bar in Lahore PC they never tell you about....!

That's why they are called Rumors.
Although some are too depressing to even think about.

I think we have between 30-40 of block 3s. The other variants are being upgraded as we speak.

Not seen any new serials beyond the original batch, so most likely the first batch is completed.

There is no upgrade path from a Block II to JF17C standard either right now.

Pakistan can potentially produce around 25-27 JF-17 Thunder fighter jets annually. However, this number could increase if the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) decides to procure a larger quantity or expands its manufacturing capacity. For example, if the PAF were to commit to 250 JF-17s, it could take a few years to complete that order, potentially leading to a need for increased production.

Think the goal was to slow down the production line until some variant of whatever they can achieve under the PFX programme comes online.

+ Some Export Order Factor.
