If it was so ineffective, how to explain some PL-15 were found ON the ground intact ? (and now in the french, US, japanese hands).Agreed.
Meanwhile i am still expecting a detailed post by you on why SPECTRA failed or was ineffective?.....Since it is literally the most hyped thing on Rafales......... like the role it played or not played? Possible theories.
If true..... poor russia !News reports

At that level, very few are willing to risk intelligence leaks they have on their payroll via HUMINTProduce the images. BS001 is confirmed because images of it have been found out. If Pakistan claims it has humint evidence, they must present similar evidence.

It is absolutely possible and no one is going to share the "how" side of it here for very obvious reasons and that info is then complemented by the eyes in the sky and humint assets on the ground and none of this info will be shared either. PAF gave the specific numbers, its now on IAF to deny them by showing those jets in flyable condition or shut the F up and accept the losses.Explain me how it is possible for PAF to say "I killed this special Rafale BSXXX" ?
All the Rafale has the same radar signature, and PAF has no access to indian IFF.
That's what BVR battle is........multiple BVRs are fired to assure kill......2-5 million worth of missiles to hit or damage 100 million jets? Hell yeaIf it was so ineffective, how to explain some PL-15 were found ON the ground intact ? (and now in the french, US, japanese hands).
If 10 were fired on a single jet, 9 may have been dodged or jammed, one may have found its way.
because they were used on terrorist camps only (so without SAM or AA artillery). There are multiple factors here.
The launches on the night of 7th were quite close range, that's why we were able to lock on to the launcher aircraft and shoot them down. Closer range means very less time for interception. And another factor is that all those targeted areas didn't have proper SAM coverage.
Most of our SAMs are covering important installations.
And about the missiles on 9th and 10th, well the number of successful interceptions are still subject to a lot of debate.
Yes yes you worked in Dassault factory which located on the sidelines of Mumbai Local tracks..... while dealing with your diarrhea. As a french, having worked in a Dassault factory, I have no lesson to receive about the Rafale efficiency.
And no, India has not only a choice between Rafale and EF2000, but also with SH18, F21, Mig35, Su-35, Gripen E (but this last one is a too direct competitor to Tejas, so no). They simply choose the best.
c'est pas mieux que d'essayer avec le français quebecois pour moi.......beaucoup de rigoles pour nos canadiennes qui en part avec francais avec les anglophonesPas besoin de google mon gogol.
Thanks that is understandable. However, my question now from people who are expert on SAMs is it really difficult to intercept air launched missiles after it has been launched by an air platform? I know the time for interception then is very low maybe in few seconds or under a minute?
What if the same scenario came again and we are bound to respond only when air missiles are launched? then will we be able to intercept them few? or is there any SAM which are quick enough to intercept missiles in same scenario any where in the world? or the response time is too slow that no one can in that short time intercept them? maybe there will be shorads quick enough in the world that can intercept missiles in such a scenario?
The only thing transparent about them is their stupidity, and that too is not because of their honesty, rather just because of the sheer scale of it.The lack of Indian acceptance of losses is hilarious considering these guys use to pride themselves on their so-called "transparency".
1. Yes air launched weapons are more difficult to intercept.
2. The SCALP performed way better than BrahMos. Although SCALP was rarely used in comparison to BrahMos. However, BrahMos goes all the way up to 40-50 K. Makes the detection part very easy. Unlike SCALP.
3. There are large holes in our AD umbrella. It can’t cover the entire landmass - specially the civilian areas. The bases would have systems installed to handle the incoming projectiles but you can't install these systems everywhere.
LOL.
