I understand that India isn't U.S. or NATO, but neither is Pakistan North Korea. Pakistan will never have a credible nuclear deterrent against India, as demonstrated in every conflict between the two. For example, during the Balakot strike, Pakistan’s air defense failed to intercept 12 Indian Mirage 2000s, escorted by Su-30MKIs and several drones, which penetrated deep into Pakistan. An Indian BrahMos missile also struck deep inside Pakistan without detection. The S-400 alone can intercept any cruise missile within its range, and it can even target ballistic missiles during their boost phase or fighter jets during takeoff. Additionally, the Indian Air Force is always prepared to target Pakistani nuclear installations, and Indian intelligence is actively present on the ground in Pakistan. And India is not USA
India lack Air Defense Umbrella like GMD , THAAD , PAC-3 , SM-3 to intercept nuclear threat
now Pakistan has enough nuclear deterrence against India
even land-air-naval launched Cruise Missiles ( with nuclear warhead ) are enough to do it
in near future India aims to operate its own Ballistic Missile Defense Systems
Also India buys S400 Air Defense System
on the other hand Pakistan gets supersonic and hypersonic Cruise Missiles
Pakistan needs Air Defense Umbrella to intercept all threats
Pakistan is believed to have acquired nuclear weapons much before its 1998 tests, during a time when it was a close ally of the U.S. against India. Despite this, full-scale wars occurred between India and Pakistan in 1965, 1971, and the Kargil conflict of 1999. In all these conflicts, nuclear threats from Pakistan or the U.S. remained nothing more than empty threats.
