THINK TANK: CONSULTANT
This all coming through US approval. But its strange, why not Turkey. They are more close to these states, a NATO member and very well armed and has positive influence in Arab world and also Iran.

As pointed out by an earlier poster, Turkey is far stronger economically and more independent-minded than Pakistan. The GCC is looking for cannon fodder as a first line of defense and the Turks will not stoop to such levels, only our elite class will. This all coming through US approval. The best news paper I would recommend is Dawn and Tribune, they have some good coverage on daily economic reviews.Tangentially related, any recommendations for an english-language analysis of Pakistani economic policy? I'm curious to learn what is leading to Pakistan needing to sign all these deals.
I don't appreciate the constant berating that Pakistanis are not "independent minded".As pointed out by an earlier poster, Turkey is far stronger economically and more independent-minded than Pakistan. I think just prompt an AI agent "what are the structural weaknesses in Pakistan's economy and budget that it requires foreign inflows" and it should be able to do the research and give you an answer. Use claude or google.Tangentially related, any recommendations for an english-language analysis of Pakistani economic policy? Why would a PAKISTANI need to rely on AI to tell us what our weKnesses are?I think just prompt an AI agent "what are the structural weaknesses in Pakistan's economy and budget that it requires foreign inflows" and it should be able to do the research and give you an answer. Use claude or google.
Firstly, the US has had to face 9/11 and forever wars in Iraq and Afghanistan because of its intervention in the Gulf. There is a reason there is significant support for America First and the Trump Monroe Doctrine. They question isn't whether the USA was able to defend Kuwait, the question is had the U.S benefited from decades of providing security support????
The question isn't whether Pakistan can defend the GCC, the question is can we benefit from a multi state alliance, with states who have major resources and trillions in financial reserves????
IF you want to counter India and Afghanistan, then you need to give states a good reason to support you
Pakistan has a massive 250 million population
If the GCC needs manpower, then they will pay for more divisions to be raised
If those divisions then need to be armed, then the GCC will provide funds for Pakistani arms to be purchased
Pakistan requires funding for projects, the GCC can be tapped for funding for MUTUAL GAIN, and Turkey and China can be tapped for technical support or outright ToT
The objective is not to go to war, the objective is to use our good relations with Iran and the GCC to ensure peace is established
It's to push out India and the Zionists
Once Pakistan is in charge of security, we can then request support against India, afghans, BLA etc
Even UAE and Bahrain should be dragged back to its senses
This is how you PLAN FOR THE FUTURE
Our future can't be sitting around, letting others take advantage of the regional needs
It can't be endlessly wasting time waiting for our awam to civilise itself and understand national interests
It can be endlessly knocking out heads against the useless ethnocentrism of our population
What is happening is vital
Pakistani are independent minded but not those who rule them. Elite who taking orders from aliens.I don't appreciate the constant berating that Pakistanis are not "independent minded".
Let's dial back the self deprecating a couple of notches please. Thanks
Better.Pakistani are independent minded but not those who rule them.
Post war Iran and GCC need to work their problems out
Pakistan is well placed to help in that
If these groups continue to fight then the Zionists and others will continue to use these divisions to cause chaos and conflict
Firstly, the US has had to face 9/11 and forever wars in Iraq and Afghanistan because of its intervention in the Gulf. There is a reason there is significant support for America First and the Trump Monroe Doctrine.
Secondly, the security relationship between the Gulf states and the US and what they seek in a defence pact with Pakistan are fundamentally different in character. The United States is a military, financial and technology superpower and a preferred destination for the Gulf royals' personal investments and children's education. Pakistan is a source of cheap and pliable soldiers.
When you say " once Pakistan is in charge of security ", I assume it is in the capacity of a security supervisor, because the Gulf royals will never give Pakistani forces strategic control of their defence to the extent they allow it to the goras. The US will still be their primary security ally and have strategic control. Pakistan will just make up for the GIs America pulls from its bases.
This is a valid point. It's up to Pakistan to LOOK AFTER OUR OWN INTERESTS
It appears to me when we talk about Pakistan, we are talking about two different countries. You apply strict western thoughts on a strictly Asian dilemma.
Pakistan's position is precarious not advantages in peace, the odds get much worse in war like scenarios. The country flirts with absolute meltdown of social order owing to a terminal economy. Things are desperate and this wish list spells out the percieved desperation hukoomat i Pakistan faces out there.
It's a rural agricultural country in an arid most sensitive climate change Hotspot with a burdening population facing acute water shortages. Not to mention that 90 percent of the population is indoctrinated by the State to not take sides and avoid conflict between coreligionists.
The conflict can last 4 to 5 years if the clouds are any mention of the rains.
