That's a great question, it's because the Arabs may feel slightly uncomfortable seeing the ottomans there again in the regionThis all coming through US approval. But its strange, why not Turkey. They are more close to these states, a NATO member and very well armed and has positive influence in Arab world and also Iran.
No sir it's not a plant it's very much been on the radar since before the war but this timing is unfortunate.Oh by the way some commentators have said this story seems like a plant anyway
I will dm you something since you always strike me as a sensible person.@RescueRanger sir, I fully accept your scepticism but to my mind the larger picture is Pakistan is being green lit to have a more expanded role within the middle East because if America's grand vision is changing then so do other parts of the world have to adapt, this necessarily means that India is peripheral to the u.s vision going forward and Pakistan is the best candidate to help fill certain military and geopolitical voids
There are a few points just to support this, these within the last 18 months
-the IMF redefining Pakistan with the middle Eastern Nations, so economically Pakistan is now primarily seen as more connected to a greater middle East
-the Americans seemingly able to only say positive things about Pakistan
The Americans upgrading f-16s immediately after sindy
- Pakistan somehow finding its way as mediator for Libya lol
-Iran playing very nice outwardly with Pakistan as well
-the whole mediation publicity
For so much to happen in such a short period will have a lot of supporters behind the scenes, this suggests a G2 consensus where America is retreating to its own hemisphere by and large
And also note that the Saudis have not really lifted a finger against Iran, no one seems to praise this? If they show no sign of attacking Iran then Pakistan can breathe easy
Therefore before we jump into war scenarios we may well be describing something that's not actually being discussed, propaganda can be effective when it diverts a discussion to disasters and peril.
If you accept most of this then really Pakistan kind of has no choice because it's the least worst option as always
My biggest concern would be how Iran fits into a future security architecture and expectations on recognition of Israel, beyond that any future war with India is likely to be a technology-led rather than manpower, it's up to Pakistan to place my to get return benefits
Based on the past track record, I just hope we don't fcuk ourselves over.We can do it
We can also fcuk over the Afghans and indians whilst doing it

I have said many times on this forum that Pakistan will be net security provider in the gulf region and it has blessing of both USA and China.... USA has realised that her present strategic posture is not sustainable in the long run.... Hezbollah will be disarmed one way or the other and Iran will be defanged .... Israel , to the chagrin of many , will be integrated in the middle east and Palestine will get statehood...let the armchair warriors and ghairat brigade throw punches in the air.@RescueRanger sir, I fully accept your scepticism but to my mind the larger picture is Pakistan is being green lit to have a more expanded role within the middle East because if America's grand vision is changing then so do other parts of the world have to adapt, this necessarily means that India is peripheral to the u.s vision going forward and Pakistan is the best candidate to help fill certain military and geopolitical voids

Wishful thinking in my humble opinion, yanks will not leave until they have made sure israel has become sole hegemon of the middle east and all the countries become subservient to israeli whims, and that strategy is incompatible with the existing power structure of the middle east where most countries view israel as an existential threat and the genocide in gaza has left no doubt in anyone's mind that jewish monsters will come for everyone one after another if its not challenged head on at some point, any defensive agreement is not worth the paper its written on if we have to first take permission from DC before we act.I have said many times on this forum that Pakistan will be net security provider in the gulf region and it has blessing of both USA and China.... I don't think Pakistanis work as domestic workers in the GCC. So at least in this case we are un-bothered.Domestic workers may be recruited from South Africa, Benin, Eritrea, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, India, Vietnam and Nepal, as well as Senegal, where recruitment is limited to male workers only.
Israeli threat is overblown , fundamentals of Israeli state are very weak , it lacks the inherent capacity to threaten every state in the region... it's not 67 or 73 , countries adjacent to Israel with the exception of Lebanon and Syria are well protected.Wishful thinking in my humble opinion, yanks will not leave until they have made sure israel has become sole hegemon of the middle east and all the countries become subservient to israeli whims, and that strategy is incompatible with the existing power structure of the middle east where most countries view israel as an existential threat and the genocide in gaza has left no doubt in anyone's mind that jewish monsters will come for everyone one after another if its not challenged head on at some point, any defensive agreement is not worth the paper its written on if we have to first take permission from DC before we act.
I think that perspective has been revised.Wishful thinking in my humble opinion, yanks will not leave until they have made sure israel has become sole hegemon of the middle east and all the countries become subservient to israeli whims, and that strategy is incompatible with the existing power structure of the middle east where most countries view israel as an existential threat and the genocide in gaza has left no doubt in anyone's mind that jewish monsters will come for everyone one after another if its not challenged head on at some point, any defensive agreement is not worth the paper its written on if we have to first take permission from DC before we act.
