Pakistan Army buying Embraer Lineage 1000 Business Jet?

As per news from Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) today; Rs. 1.094 Billion have been reserved for Pakistan Army to purchase a Lineage 1000 Business Jet (similar to one bought by the PN and currently being used by PM VVIP pool). But the amount resvered barely translates to US$3.9M and a pre-owned Lineage 1000 or 1000E today costs around US$25-US$28 Million. So why the Army has all of sudden chosen this Brazilian platform & the nature of the funds solicited from ECC remains for the moment a mystery. Army already has good smaller business jets that can be used by the top brass to travel comfortably worldwide.

What? You don't think Field Marshal, Chief of Defence Forces, Chief of the Army Staff, Nishan-e-Imtiaz, Hilal-e-Jurat, Hilal-e-Imtiaz, Hafiz-e-Quran, Salahuddin Ayyubi of the Modern Era Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah doesn't deserve this?
