Pakistan Army | News and Discussions

On the topic of Pakistan's defensive posture given the ongoings in the neighborhood, I feel Pakistan needs to fast-track indigenous development of cheap, effective drones. The armed forces need not a few thousand, but tens of thousands of drones, potentially in the hundreds of thousands and we should tap into our relations with both Ukraine and Turkey to acquire systems that are battle-tested by the former to ensure we are inducting and manufacturing systems that are proven. Ukrainians have been getting a lot of very solid western tech to aid their UAV development and to drive down costs and Pakistan should try to benefit from it.

What is really instructive is to watch the way these drones are being used to entirely defeat armor, artillery and infantry on the ground in Ukraine. The survival of these assets is suddenly highly suspect given what these drones can accomplish. Pakistan has to ensure that it takes these lessons to heart and fast-track development and scale.
In line with this, this article is insightful:

Indian Army is also shifting its focus from the now obsolete Cold Start doctrine to "Cold Strike". The core component of this doctrine will be the newly formed "Rudra" brigade (sort of like US Army Brigade Combat Team).

"A Rudra Brigade is a newly conceptualised all-arms, permanently integrated combat formation combining infantry, mechanised units, armour, artillery, air defence, engineers, signals, drones, logistics and support elements under a single operational framework." -- Source: Rudra Brigade

So this combined-arms mechanized formation will conduct blitzkrieg type operations inside the enemy territory, where it will perform hit and run tactics to strike targets or achieve objectives, which are very time bound and sensitive, but whose objectives will be to cripple the opposing side. They will also utilize a variety of drones as well. Also notice the cope cages installed on the Indian T-90.... also is Arjun tank in service with the Indian Army?

Masha Allah, Allah sab ko sehat aur tandrusti ata farmaye. We are a thankless nation really, we focus too much on bad apples.
Don't you think it's a bit hard not to focus on the "bad apples" When they try to control every aspect of life here.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia’s military leadership on Monday discussed strengthening the “longstanding and strategic” cooperation between the two countries, focusing on defence, security, and counter-terrorism efforts, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

The discussion took place during a meeting between Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir and Chief of General Staff (CGS), Saudi Armed Forces General Fayyadh Bin Hameed Al Rowaili at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, according to the ISPR.

“During the meeting, both leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, with a particular focus on strengthening the longstanding and strategic military cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia,” the statement said.

Firstly He is not Gen, he is Fiel Marshal, Second why put (R) after Asim Muneer when No (L) for the second party, whole universe know who is Asim Muneer.
IS that R Stands for Retired???? What crap ISPR is trying to do here?

Cold strike or Cold start or Cold Cola or Cold Tart. 🥶 . The answer is the same.

Participants of the National Security Workshop–27 [NSW–27] visited General Headquarters [GHQ] today, where they received comprehensive briefings on Pakistan’s regional and internal security landscape and prevailing national security environment.
