As far as I know, being from a military family with extended members who immigrated, there is no loop-hole like this. While my father was in service, there was absolutely NO question of him getting dual-nationality and the same went for my mother.
As it is, nowadays people believe all sorts of bakvas but when people try to falsely make it look like dual nationality is all kosher in the military then it needs to be corrected. Thus my post.
People having business interests overseas is a different issue. It is not a dual-citizenship issue. If they have business interests above and beyond their means then it needs to be investigated. The one case that everyone talks about had the assets parked overseas under the spouse and brother's name. That individual was blacklisted from the service and unceremoniously pushed out with adverse remarks on their service record.

Three security personnel lost their lives in glacier slide during snow removal operation at Burzil Pass in Gilgit-Baltistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
According to the ISPR, the operation was being carrying out on the night of January 2–3, 2026, using heavy machinery, to open Burzil Pass and facilitate the operational movement of forces. The mission was led by Captain Asmad, 28, who hailed from Lahore.
“At around 2 am on January 3, while the operation was ongoing, a glacier slid as a result Captain Asmad, two soldiers and a civilian machine operator from the Public Works Department came under it.

Indonesia has expressed its desire to further expand defence ties with Pakistan across multiple domains, the military’s media affairs wing said on Monday.
The development came as Indonesian Defence Minister Lieutenant General (retd) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin called on Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
“The meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, evolving regional and global security dynamics, and exploration of avenues for enhancing bilateral defence cooperation,” it said.
