Pakistan Army Small Arms

Pakistani private companies can do wonders if given proper training, plus equipment, or at least loans to start their companies. In a year or two, you will have great options. Far better performing than the crap being churned out by POF.

They are good at copying weapons, they will also need R&D.

AK derivatives, they are more widely in use than G3 now.

My personal choice, Bren 3 derivatives (for our calibres), but the way we burnt them last time….
The russian built, Belarusian assembled rpk'ish, VSK100 being the more recent ones .. taking a dump of the cheap type56 from norinco.

Whatever Pakistan decides, do NOT go with 6.8.

Pakistani rifle requirements are so different to the West. Where Western armies need top consider high rates of ammo use, confined spaces in IFVs and fighting in Urban areas, Pakistan army still has long range, low fire rate light infantry engagements in the deserts of Thar, the hills of KP and high altitudes of Northern Areas.

Controverisial I know, but maybe they just worked that a replacement to the G3 would simply not be worth the incremental benefits it would bring?

Even many Western SF are sticking with the G3 for long range work/patrolling.
