Establishment is to be blamed for a lot of things but it can't be blamed for a party choosing to be anti-Pakistan. How does persecution of a political party forces it to become anti-state and aligns with people who don't even recognize your territorial borders? Doesn't that defeats the purpose of the political fight for upholding the Constitution and integrity of the country?
As far as I know, Imran is in prison due to his crimes which are numerous and which his followers deny and present him as some most honest person with democratic credentials. No he is not. Pakistanis are too lenient otherwise the day he threw out the NCM vote was enough to put him in the prison for violating the Const of Pakistan but instead a full year was allowed to the scoundrel build his 'narrative'. It was an open-and-shut case.
But coming to the anti-state part: Benazir's father was hanged by now widely agreed as a 'judicial murder' and yet she still didn't become anti-state and this scoundrel Imran thinks he has the right to ethnic blackmail because he is imprisoned? His prison conditions are still far better then what Zia did to Benazir!
