Do the jammers have the ability to jam cross-polarization?
This is a great way to knock out the Brahmos and future planned follow ons by the Indians, with a soft kill system.
Btw that incident of the Indian “accidental” firing of the Brahmos into Pakistan gave a seeker head to study. Hopefully it can point out the best way to defend in volume and at low cost.
Pakistan should try to pick up a few of the Thales Scorpion 2 Jammers and put them on the old Oliver hazard Perry ship in the PN fleet and run tests against it with supersonic target missiles.
Overview
The Scorpion 2 is an electronic countermeasures system that provides defense against and attack capability for both point defense and area protection jamming for naval units. The system is specifically designed to fulfill this countermeasure role for multi-role warships.

Sentiment is nice but that statement is gonna be quoted and misconstrued heavily. I can just see it now in this year’s China power report to congress.
