If one is as successful in U.K. as in Pakistan (corresponding to the local income level), one would be paying higher tax rates in U.K. It may not be profitable to run away. Of course, living in U.K. is nicer for a lot of other reasons compared to Pakistan. But Tax rate does not seem to be the main attraction.
I thought you and @VCheng knew each other from the states.
Didn't realise it was an online bromance.
that means nothing in either religious or secular terms. For me living in your home country place city where your forefathers are buried (one day i too joins them besides)
No, on PDF only we became friends and had a falling out. We've never met. He frequents another forum I do and I think we got in rouch there too.
This is a nation unto itself. Lol
Cheers, Doc

Allah ki zameen hai, jahan marzi jao.
As far as I am concerned, we remain fellow motorcyclists - no falling out. Peace!
all people either here, or there, have been migrants at some point. and nomads before settling down. this whole dharti maa and roots thing just promotes stagnationI live in my city, place naturally, the way my parents and their patents lives....its priceless. why should i live an artificial life, forcefully abide myself to others way of living in another land no matter how good better it look like. It's still artificial, without roots. I don't want to be an epiphyte.

PS: don't forget to pay PKR 12500 "brain drainage tax" on your way out of Pakistan.
As I said, elites will be benefitted with the continuity of migration. We are cutting budgets of higher education commission, subsidy will be removed gradually. Education is no priority, keeping awam Jahil is the best and only option to prolong already much prolonged regime in charge. That's all?!!!
Dont know about Pakistan but our education system at state level is hugely subsidised.
Especially elite college education in technical fields like medicine and engineering.
The typical guys who leave the country and hurt it most.
Definitely there should be a bond for them. This amount is ridiculous. I think the army spends about 70-80 lacs in producing a doctor. Should be the same for an AIIMS.
Cheers, Doc
