Pakistan Cricket Imploding by itself

The patron in chief of PCB Shobazz Sharif is one of the biggest crooks in the history of this country, Salman Butt is a small fish but true to form for the whole criminal GHQ controlled establishment.
Shobaz is robot or ardali.
The whole system is joke.
So why not players just go for greed.
PCB is also a milk cow so leeches are on.

Pakistani cricket was always raw
We had street fighters
A players showed raw talent, he was picked up and thrown in the deep end based off talent
And then we tried to polish the player with coaching

As time went out, coaching got better in Pakistan
This seems great, but we stopped picking players on raw talent

And looked to pick docile coached players who we felt had correct skills and coaching and it's made us weak

Think about the teams of the 80's and 90s, even the 2010s

Swearing ruthless, disobedient, corrupt, but talented
We lost games we should have won, but we won games we should have lost

That was Pakistan cricket

We need to get back to that ASAP

It wasn’t that simple. Pakistan had a very vibrant club cricket scene. Those raw players weren’t so raw. They might not have played a lot of first class cricket but they had extensive experience of competitive Club Cricket. Sports in general has changed a lot & it’s an industry now.

The 2009 terrorist attack on Sri Lankan cricket team & the subsequent absence of international cricket in Pakistan had left a huge gap between Pakistan and other teams. IK made things even worse by closing down department cricket & reducing regional cricket to 6 teams only. There’s a sea of difference between Pakistan & Australia. Club cricket in Pakistan was largely due to departments, players could afford to play for clubs as they were reasonably secure. The changes brought by IK destroyed whole eco system.

Pakistan cricket is a work in progress. Current set up has so far done pretty well to bring back an eco system of department, regions & academies. The missing part is the revival of club cricket in major test centers. We are a good captain & a couple of years away from becoming a competitive side once again, provided we stay on the same path & don’t change course once again.

Eff off jeet.

India is substantially responsible for harming Pakistani cricket by leveraging malevolent influence OFF the pitch. You have no business commenting on our performances on the pitch.

Behave like civilised folk and shake our hands before we even contemplate talking cricket again with your kind.

Biggest error of recent times made by PCB was withdrawing that boycott threat last year. Missed opportunity for us because of SL whining!

Nice summary of Naqvi's achievements in cricket only.

You can dodge a loss at India’s hands by boycotting India. But what about the rest of the world?

If you want to save face, the only option is to boycott not just India, but the rest of the world too.

Naseem Shah paid a fine ($ 72k) for a tweet about Maryam Nawaz. Haris Rauf was showing score of 6-0 for the May skirmish after losing the match to India. PCB first threatened not to play after IK's son's interview on Sky News but later backtracked.
Everything is politicised, and then they say they have to focus on the game. The majority is Naqvi's fault.

The win rate of the teams of 80s, 90s, and 2000s wasn't all that great either. We had big stars who brought glamor but the team performance was patchy back then too, although I have to admit we were not given the infamous "mercurial" title then which is a nicer way to say the team has no consistent standard of play.

I think the focus on T-20 has ruined the ability and the fitness of the Pakistan batting line-up to stay at the crease. Most other countries kept their test cricket in place...our departmental cricket, first class cricket along with club cricket all went to hell.

I know there is no right answer, but I firmly believe personal grit at the individual athlete level is greatly lacking. This has been seen time and again. No administration can fix this.

If the goddamned cricket team's morale is down, what about the rest of the goddamned nation that moves forward despite all the challenges in the world on their heads? How long with this coddling of these shameless players go on for political point-scoring?

What burns me more is that after each such debacle, the entire team of cowards disappears to do their ritual umrah so they won't have to face the crowds. In my mind, they are earning what we call in the vernacular, "haram ka paisa" by not showing up for their country on the field.

Nope. We have no problem with rest of world. Pakistani cricket will only be good if it deserves to be good. We will be beaten by all and sundry if that is our standard. No problem.

The one thing we will not do is be lectured to by jeets, who damaged our sport OFF the pitch deliberately , regarding our performance ON the pitch.

Happy to discuss cricket with and play cricket against English, Bangladeshis, Aussies and anyone, but you lot have abrogated your right to discuss such matters with us or to even play us.

Same for any other sport where you follow your government's instruction and refuse to shake our hands.

Do you understand now?
