We have produced outstanding players but Saeed Anwar was always my favourite batsman. I wish he didn't retire after 2003 as I missed him dearly for several years and hoped that he reversed his retirement.

He must be in 50s or 60s, may be we can pick him again as he will perform better than half of our batting line up

Saeed Anwar was forcefully retired under the moderate enlightenment secularization effort of the GHQ colonial sepoys...the then PCB Chair, one Lt. Gen. Tauqir Zia stated that "he should go focus on doing Allah Allah"...
