The Indians have been hyping the Brahmos as a wonder weapon for a very long time. But a saturation attack of a major magnitude blurs the line on nuclear signaling and could be interpreted as a nuclear attack. The Indians want to poke without being blinded and so are in search for a sweet spot. This is the story since 2016.
the problem is, we've made it a wonder weapon by our lack of preparedness. They could effecitvely use it like arty if they wanted to lol and wed sit there and watch

with low tech. advancements (very visible in Ukraine), Brahmos, should not be taken lightly.

of course, Brahmos will come will other goodies all well!

That’s not surprising because historically, pakistan never took air defense seriously. The scale of air defense inductions over the past few years were actually impressive.

Then retire the entire airforce and navy and ride the wind with your bramhos. Why spend billions on "agar Rafale hota ". Modi ji should have said "agar Brahmos hota "
Brahmos , though named after brahma , isn't all that omnipotent and Omni present as portrayed by our enlightened brigade .....in any future conflict it will be given whole lotta love as given to rafale

This is the same level of confidence every Indian has before they get humiliated, stop behaving like an Indian by incessantly perking yourself off there's no logic at all to it.

In a war of attrition in Air defence Pakistan is fundamentally outmatched due to simple economic asymmetry

Indians were fighting below the nuclear threshold. Put enough cuts that you feel the pain but not enough to tear the whole arm. Also the the Trump effect. Also Pakistan did the nuclear posturing. Red lines were about to be breached if India indiscriminately lobed the Brahmos volley. Indians wanted to strategically disable Pakistan, not conventionally.

Indians will not repeat the same mistake next time.
Nuclear weapons are easier to target once they are moved out of their bunkers and prepared for deployment. it is possible to destroy them inside bunkers but doing so is viewed as an escalation. targeting them once they are out in the open can be justified as an act of self-defense.

Ok sir ji ..... you are the authentic last voice.

My Wife Chachi, has 2 brothers, One in ISI, one in GHQ, Full Colonel and Brigadier rank. Both said, we have only 12-14 days of supplies and stock to fight intensive war
And India has ammo supply of 10 days or so.

Do you know what outsiders are impressed by when it comes to India and Pakistan fighting?

That our "war" or "pre war" only lasted 4 days. :ROFLMAO:

Both are actually thought of as having the secret to a more "civilized war fighting model". No Ukraine/Russia style wasted cities, blood and guts flying all over the place.

Either we are too good, or just "welterweight boxers" pretending to fight in heavyweight class.

Either way, the earth is better off.

The bottom line is Pakistani stocks of stand off missiles namely cruise missiles were limited hence no real reply back to the weapons India sent in.
This needs an urgent look at i.e. factories need to start building them and in large numbers. Plenty of options lie with China and with Turkey, but something with very high speed is needed and a f*ck off large warhead.
I said it from day one I was disappointed with the response from the land forces. Delays, indecisiveness and the probable lack of stocks gave the Indian military a freer hand which they used well.

so after the last accidental firing into pak- why was it not given love?

CJ-100 cruise missile, MACH 5 with 1,200 mile range.

yes, or even target drone based stuff. Perhaps even turning stuff like kemankes into cheap decoys etc etc
I went back to listening to the podcast. And these were the additional couple of thoughts. One being exactly what you pointed:

1/ MALD type decoys but multi platform launch-able. Land, sea, air.

2/ you touched upon a very important aspect. Data. We need to develop supersonic/high supersonic target(s) to emulate the threat to develop systems and tactics.
