परिजनों के अनुसार सार्जेंट प्रकाश जांगिड़ ने करीब 16 साल पहले भारतीय वायुसेना की टेक्निकल ट्रेड में सेवा शुरू की थी। वे पिछले एक महीने से बीमार थे। उनका इलाज भी चल रहा था। शनिवार को वो ड्यूटी पर तैनात थे। तभी उनकी तबीयत अचानक बिगड़ गई। जिसके बाद उन्हें पहले अंबाला एयरफोर्स हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती कराया गया। हालत गंभीर होने पर उन्हें चंडीगढ़ रेफर किया गया जहां इलाज के दौरान मौत हो गई।

Then suddenly his health deteriorated. He was admitted to Ambala base hospital. Upon becoming critical, he was referred to Chandigarh where he died during treatment.

In the video of that tweet, there is no family member saying anything. The narrative in the video is talking about a different person, Madan Singh Gujjar, who was in Army not airforce.

The Tejas v JF-17 debate is well settled now , in favor of the JF-17. Pakistan's choice of collaboration versus Indian desire for extreme indigenousness proved correct. I remember Indian fools making fun of JF-17 as a "paintjob" around 10 years back.

I wont get into the debate of how indigenous Tejas actually is or isnt but it's a great platform - just suffers from the worst project management since the history of the subject.
