As for the Haqqani interview with Karan Thapar: I don't have the time to watch something I already know about. There is only so much time in a day. But Haqqani does a good job of subtly making Pakistan's case in such a way that he still appears 'credible' to non Pakistani audience--that's the way to 'engage' and get your message across otherwise one would be irrelevant buffoons like Sheikh Rashid of Pakistan or General Bakshi of India.

If true - which I doubt - first, all of the F-16s in PAF need their radars and avionics upgraded (preferably with AN/APG-83 SABR AESA radar), and then PAF can consider the AIM-120D.

The Chinese combat system worked for Pakistan was crisp and illuminating. A well thought out system. We can guess that most of china’s military are as well thought out. It’s not just about the numbers of the units build. They are probably integrated. In this case it was Rafale , but I guess china thought of F-35 when designing the system.
