What a beautiful symbiotic relationship.

Pakistan gets high end Chinese engineering and in return China get battle tested weapons. There is no better advertisement.

The neutralization of the Indian AWACS was not an option but rather a pivotal tactical necessity. Its high radar imprint (RCS) and its constant radiation makes it a attractive negative point for any advanced ESM system. What Pakistan did - most likely - is the implementation of a coordinated electronic chain that began to monitor the AWACS fingerprint passively, and pass its accurate coordinates (4D) immediately to the ground EW EA, which led to the isolation of Indian fighters from the air command center.

Then the fighters lost their network cover, and became "blind" in a battlefield running in kilowatts and waves before the missiles. Conclusion: Whoever controls the electromagnetic spectrum ... controls the sky.. It appears that the Pakistanis yesterday were the ones who controled the "right wave at the right time".

Chinese are known to have developed EMP weapons.Couldn't they lend them to Pakistan

It could help them test it out in an actual combat scenario

You don't really need actual combat to test that. China and US have been jamming each other regularly over east China sea.
