Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

It has a lot of plot holes but to me I felt I was reliving May situation just thinking of how (and who) was making decisions (not that Im qualified to) in those short intervals. How everyone had massive expectations of decision making capabilities without realizing how short of a reaction time really is there when you are next door.
Plus with so many different personalities involved, who would react differently under pressure the movie does give you an idea, plus we could relate the movie to the recent events of May 2025.

  • No Signs of any international diplomacy at all
  • No Drills, warnings, notices to Indian population
  • No defensive postures
  • Pakistan is pretty much busy with Palestinian and Afghan issues
  • India did not attack Pakistan when we were busy with Afghanistan
  • Pakistan's NOTAMs are not "directly" coinciding with India's dates and durations
India gave up in May immediately after S400 got hit and their AF was out of options. Does not seem like anything has changed for India in those two depts since then.

Even If they want to keep it a secret then we can assume Pakistan is also equally keeping it down. Pakistan knows India too well since 75+ years to fall for such a ruse..

India is trying to divert Pakistan’s attention from Afghan conflict, as Taliban are India’s proxy. India wants to make sure they stay intact. The only way they can make sure that the Taliban regime stays intact is to push for exercising with a pretext and rhetoric for an attack on Pakistan….
Pakistan should not fall for it and should make sure that Taliban regime is changed. Taliban will only work for India.
The solution is to raise the army, multiple heavy divisions next year or two add another half a million soldiers heavily armed, and take care of the western border problem once and for all, take over afghanistan

Things have gone more serious as Pakistan's Friends are now sharing intel of real danger ...the new NOTAM is the reflection. Indian NOTAM starts on 30th but Pakistan is focusing on Oct 28 to 29.
I hope there is an element of aggressive posturing from Pakistan's side. Even a few fatah 1 tested would be symbolic.

Both DG ISPR and COAS in two seperate speeches made it clear and also one unamed officer interviewed by Economist, that in a future skirmish we would "Strike east and work our way back"

COAS stated that we would target both "communication" as well as actual conflict zones.

This to me indicates India assets will not be safe anywhere, and rather then wait for India to bring up it's assets to the frontlines, we will strike them where they are being protected distance wise

It's why Pakistani military has remained vigilant and pointed towards India

And the FC and drones have taken on Afghanistan, going forward it will be the FC taking care of the western front with hopefully better and better equipment

It's time to train the FC at a minimum on par with the Pak Rangers and incorporate all levies into one large FC, which will give us something in the region of 1.5 million men at arms to call upon

There is one thing that did resonate the most - which was at the middle management levels having competent individuals matters. The right person looking and coordinating with decision makers matters a lot.
If that right person is not available then you are not only feeding the wrong information but also delaying how information gets sent.

Exactly, and one more thing this movie proves is that why the nuclear code is dispersed among different people and should not be in control of a single individual.

seems these are not their front line troops!

They are very good at dissemination of academic learning.
But then what sample sizes of the troops shown using the drones is “all of the unit”.
Their front line is being integrated further but once again the question arises on what percentage is capable of putting plans into practice.

For that matter, how much of Pakistani troops are capable?

in Ukraine, drone war started after invasion....

I think, they are validating, what if scenario of, area captured but enemy is still able to fight and hold important pockets

Thats a good approach, the ooint i am trying to make is that Pakistan needs to take care of western border, and then take care of Dehli problem. Division of India is required, by first creating a buffer sikh state from north all the way down go gujrat.
