Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

I’ve said it before & will say it again, give a monkey a knife or a gun, he’s still gonna do more damage to himself than anyone else BUT Pakistan needs to stay ever vigilant of this big ass monkey that got badly mauled & is now out spending tens of billions in hope of a better result next time.

Very true, but Qataris proved you can spend billions and still have your capital bombed...

Biggest issue I see with Pakistan is that due to our economical situation, and not so good standing among the international players (which is changing) we can not be pro-active towards India, after Pehlgham Attack Indians were slowly building their forces on border and we were monitoring it, we know attack is imminent but we can not take the initiative to attack them and end the threat before it appears, just like Iran can just look at all the military buildup by USA but they can't do anything about and America will attack on time of its own choosing, similar to that Indians after any attack will keep the war drums rolling but we will only watch them build up their strength. I think the best for Pakistan is to add more AD systems Short/medium/long range, maybe get 1-2 more J-10CE and mass produce missiles like Fateh I ,II's & IV's.

regardless tbh this government needs to be given stability
If we are going to grow economically we need stability firstly we need to torch our western border of those cavemen compoletely orchestrating attacks here and then focus on our east

To grow economically we need to have stable policies and document appx 400 to 600 billion usd of undocumented economy. Widen tax net. Something to start with

To me, what this conflict proved was Pakistan's success did not lie in its defensive capabilities, but rather its offensive capabilities. Those capabilities forced India onto the back foot, from which India never recovered from.

Pakistan should plug the gaps in its short range AD for sure(having Sargodha taken out for a few hours was not a good look), induct HQ-9 to take out the ALBM/LORA type threats and look to procure on mass home grown systems that can reach deep deep into India, to places like New Delhi and hit with precision.

The site of New Delhi looking like downtown Baghdad dad on the eve of the Gulf War is the deterrence, because it directs "his their own self-projection of their own strength" and Indians will want to avoid that at all costs.

I think(imho) it is better for PAF to take an early adopter risk and procure the J-35AE ASAP instead of more J10CE's, as that will be a quantum leap in capabilities ( all dependent on when China can export them of course). The PAF has the IAF covered for now given as the PAF approaches x50 JF17C with PL15E's and the 20 J10CE's. India has no answer for 70 x PL15E carriers, for the next 2-3 years until more Rafales turn up, and even then the Meteor is outgunned by the PL15E.

we should focus on getting PL-17s

lets wrap up the year 2025 for the Indian aviation in general,

1-Started off with bhindoor, getting each type of their jet shot down over their own airspace without PAF ever crossing the border. 1xSU30, Mig29, M2K confirmed shot down. One Rafale confirmed shot down as well, plus 3 more shot down and 1x damaged and written off.

2-India proceeds to carry out NOTAM exercises, crashing their Jaguar as per usual SOP.

3-India proceeds to fly junk Tejas at Dubai Airshow and rightly kept its repute by crashing it in front of the world......maybe the pilot cut off the fuel switch to engine? After all Air India pilots did the same. So who knows?

So all in all, 2025 was a great year for Indian aviation in general. One for the history books.
I hear another Tejas went down today?

I agree with you, but if we to believe people with knowledge of the topic, we need a whole support system for 5th Gen fighters, getting just the jets won't make much difference unless we have other systems in places to fully utilize their potential, but J-35's just getting mass produced so we don't know much about the plane, i know China has been testing them for years now but this is first time we see them going into production, it took us a good time to put the trust in J-10's, but now we know that J-10's can be pretty effective against the Rafale's so why not increase the numbers to like 50? I mean we can at least order 1 sq and dedicated it for naval strikes or Naval air arm, IN will be getting Rafale's for their Navy, now PAF has to provide cover for PN ships so why not just order 1 sq for Navy to operate with some nice juicy ANsh missiles?

PAF has the foundation support systems in place already for the J-35AE, it was done as part of the multi-domain datalinked warfare that PAF demonstrated during "Sindoor".

What PAF will have to do, is local induction of the J-35AE and platform specific support infrastructure.

we have whatever is needed to do the job, just need the guts/balls to actually go do it.
And not care for the consequences. Deal with it head-on.
