important to note, there is no major and varied rail infrastructure from Sindh to upper parts.


so, how can Pak. counter this?

easy, destroy naval carrier battle groups along with majority of attacking fleet

or

destroy air power
 
While you are thinking of airbases or other infrastructure as losses - think also of individuals.

What Israel has taught India about is that crippling military leadership has a similar impact as taking out infrastructure because it becomes a headless chicken.

Remember, your troops were still willing to fight on in the various spots they held in 71 if Niazi did not surrender. A similar effect can be seen that in Iran’s previous 12 day conflict the loss of military leaders created a stun effect in response times.
 
OK , so this might be a little old to talk about but indians were saying something during the conflict on a blue on blue by the IAF , probably by an AD , we had a video of Akash intercepting something in pampore...also we had an AD kill too right? the mirage 2000 by the HQ9? @Oscar said something about it some time back...To add to it the Abhijiet iyer also said some words about friendly fire...

These are PAF kills. One Su30 in Akhnoor and the other is Mirage2000 in Pampore. Just ignore Indian stories as they never add up.

I am not denying kills of PAF , but just that it would be hella embarrassing for the indian to get their ass whooped by PAF and have a friendly fire incident

AFAIK - the HQ-9 was used to engage a ballistic target - which is assumed to be a S-400 on the way to engage a fighter. The HQ-9 was not used as much primarily to preserve it as an asset and keep it rotating.


I would not put it beyond Bhaktoras to claim a friendly fire just to deny PAF a kill.

yeah but again we have nukes if they attack anyone high , that will incur serious response , i see them hitting high value infra but not personalities . pakistan is not iran or hezb

Great post.

Iran also learned a lesson from last year. Now they readily profess to a more decentralised "multi-nodal" management structure. Maybe last year's conflict was a good thing for them to prep them for this one.
