You have nothing to make Indian chew and swallow right now because they will just ignore and brush all IAF loses like they did back in 2019. For them, they have breeched our sovereignty deep and hit "terrorist hideouts" and they have all the visuals to celebrate on with their SOWs dropping on our civilians (just like in Gaza). If we dont pay back in same coin, hitting India proper (not IIOK) with our SOW and making Indian chew on it, you have already lost the war of narrative and symbolism. Mark my words.

Rafale allegedly shot down now has NOTHING to do with PAF “rejecting” the Rafale.

PAF was very impressed with Rafale but could not afford it and did think it was overpriced vs the Eurofighter.

F-16 purchase and upgrade had no relationship nor consideration with Rafale or EF or Gripen - they were coming regardless.

''officially'' they told french that i agree. But the reality was as u mentioned correction it had failed to justify it prize. Its didn't had anything revolutionary which justified 77 or 73 million/per plane cost @ flyaway condition.
It didn't even had RBE-2 AESA nor had MEteor back then. And later in 2009 with what happened with PAF acquisition of used M2K etc.

India too has suffered many casualties and destruction and so it is not right for some to frame this was 5 Indian planes vs Pakistani civilians. And I know some PDF members are paddling a certain narrative and that's for their domestic political needs: They just don't stop and when some of us push back the mods jump in. They should stop their non-sense and go to some political thread on PDF instead!


I too have thought along those lines and see some merit in that. But I don't think India has learned the lesson for long term yet. Maybe they will be quiet for the next 5-6 years and then try again; the Indian over-reaction to Pahalgam suggests long term goals against Pakistan. I think Pakistan should take the initiative and take back IoK. This time, India is more isolated than ever on the international support for this conflict, the Kashmiris in IoK are more alienated than ever, the Chinese are sitting on top of Ladakh, the Sikhs in Indian Punjab and even in the Indian military have questionable loyalty toward India and, above all, Pakistanis for the first time WANT a war against India because the decades old Indian blackmail has forced Pakistanis to.

Problem is that Pakistan simply can not allow indian narrative about terrorist centres being destroyed and by not retalationing they would indirectly confirm indian narrative and in politics narrative is everything. Consequences of accepting indian claims would be devastating for future as lot of people already said they can false flag attacks in future and attack Pakistan under that pretext which is permanently inferior position, i hope pakistani deep state or whoever is in position of power understand this and will do what has to be done to avoid such scenario.

Most China weapons sold to Pakistan are bundled with ToT.
