Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

What have been PAF losses in the conflict ? There is a video PAF pilots on the ground after crash/shoot down.

Lets say Pakistan does retaliate, most likely GHQ will choose targets that don't incite a even larger response, and escalate this further. What is the future for this country? India is now targeting our cities like its nothing, their trying to gain control over OUR waters, they are a significantly larger economy than us, and tbf their future is much brighter. The Pakistani Establishment needs to take a good deep look at this countries future, and needs to start fixing its domestic problems starting TODAY. Or either India will win against us upfront, or they will give us a painful slow death.
After seeing Indian Air Force performance and Pakistani Air Force dominance now Indian troops are on grounds are vulnerable.

The echo chamber of propaganda India has created over the last few decades is extremely dangerous and suicidal.

The loss of five aircraft and global humiliation has not knocked an ounce of sense into Indians.

Well then make their wish come true.
If they want an express flight to Dozakh then arrange it for them.

Indians have yet to accept their failed Surgical Strike in 2016 or the failed strike in Balakot in 2019. They are amazingly insular. But, yes, I believe Pakistan did cause major damage across the LOC in last 24-36 hours and caused casualties in IoK, especially in the Poonch sector which had alarmed even Indians in an Indian forum. Unfortunately civilians, including Muslims Kashmiris were killed and that's something very difficult for Pakistan to own.
I have yet to see an admission of a loss from the Indian side.

Until that happens, or like @LeGenD quipped yesterday.........our PAF hasn't come out and credited any of our pilots with kills yet. And our PAF doesn't bullshit.

In da meanwhile, our retaliation is looking shaky.

I'm warning all these chutiye here right now.......if we don't attack, its all over!

Problem is Indian Echochamber works on some - just look at some of the posts in this thread.

Only thing now is stopping Pakistan. That is pressure from international world.

in order to do so, Army needs to seriously ponder and think upon it. The surprising factor is that the general population isn't too hostile to Pakistan. They speak a dialect of Pahari the language of AJK.
If they seriously analyse and study it im sure they will find a lot of things to play with. They just to send some deep agents there to collect some on round information and build networks at grass routs level. Capturing or destabilizing the area will make it hard for Indians to reinforce IOK and maintain constant supply chains.
Chinese option is sensible and good approach. They can penetrate from North and we from South and even divide the area in long run. As long as Indian mainland is cutoff its all good. And then launch offensive from South (Jammu into IOK) to finish the job.
What I’m saying is that it can’t be a repeat of operation Gibraltar ; expecting local support. It has to be a massive undertaking to build up Pakistan economically and militarily to be resilient enough to endure the consequences of the pressure before a war, and for the time afterwards.

Furthermore, the Pakistan military has to be built up to be able to wage such a war. The amount of war material and civilian material would have to be massive to be overwhelming in a war. Remember even if Pakistan is half the fighting force (the other half PLA), an Indian force defending need only be a third the strength to be at parity. Pakistan would have to be more than equal to the India’s military and then some to be able to carry it out successfully.

The key is would China build up Pakistan to this level? If India provokes China, China could do it, at significant cost, but it could be done.

Chinese netizens are very much supportive of Pakistan, and Indian observers are pointing it out.

That is no longer the case for India, things are and have been changing.

That is what I'm saying. We must always stay in reality. Reality check is very important. It awakes you from dream. They were stupid in 2019. After that even they did not learn. They become more stupid. This is why they've been messed up today.

I wanted to share my analysis in case someone did not understand the series of events last night. IAF outnumbered PAF by 3 times. Pak had 27 jets in Pakistan airspace while India had 70 to 80. Unlike Balakot attack, IAF were instructed not to cross over to the Pakistani airspace. Factors include (1) Wounds of operation swift retort that still aren't healed (2) Fear of loosing 4.5 Gen Rafaels and causing more emotional damage. With that said, their goal was to strike quick and use several g's to disappear deep in to Indian territory. Pakistan had advanced intelligence that they were coming. Pakistan Airforce on purpose let them use all their payload to hit Pakistani infrastructure. When their payload was empty, this is where IAF plan failed. As they were turning back, PAF used PL15 (over 230 km range) to lock and strike only those aircrafts that were used in the assault. Indians as usual were hiding their losses but recently French intelligence has confirmed that a Rafael was shot down. This causes momentum to be shifted among Pakistani citizens from "We need to retaliate further" to "Recent events caused enough humiliation that retaliation will not prove anything further".

As for me, I also wish a proper retaliation occurs since targeting (1) Pak mainland and (2) Masjid should be a big no no, but as @RescueRanger said, PA knows best and will likely take the best course of action.
