That's smoke from firing of a SAM battery. The 2 or 3 bangs were from ejection of the missile from tube and then firing its rocker motor. Two loud bangs at least for every SAM missile fired.

There were. Hence why what happened happened, and happened this swiftly. Make no mistake, the aerial combat that we saw was choreographed in advance by the PAF, it wasn't an impromptu brawl. However, every single possibility can't be accounted or planned for before hand. Neither can the response be calibrated without ascertaining what the enemy has done.

India says it was a Pakistani jet (unlikely we were that far in, the strike is at low altitude), Pakistanis say it is IAF reportedly.

Could be a drone as well? We had a launch as well against a drone.

Amritsar is not very far in. Could be a drone downed too.

Here is what I was told - surveillance drone was flying over some sensitive buildings near old airport in Lahore, the drone was observed circling the same building - it was then taken out by Pakistan Army - Pakistan Army cordoned off the area - the debris of the drone which landed somewhere near the park have been taken by Pakistan army.

Hopefully DGISPR will give us a proper update.
