It’s obvious Asim Munir has got some sort of a call not to retaliate. The Saudi foreign minister is supposedly due in Islamabad today according to some reports. If Pakistan doesn’t resolutely retaliate it will validate the chest thumping stances of the Hindu nationalists and make such provocative attacks a norm in the future. It will also validate Hindu nationalists claims that Pakistani strategic weapons are null and void and that Pakistan can and should be punished whenever convenient.

Just for the record, as some supposed “maturity and restrain” is being shown against vile and bellicose Hindu nationalists, Pakistani teenagers and their parents are being rounded up as enemies of the state for objecting against Asim Munir’s political engineering. This is the Pakistan army for you

Arresting people's innocent relatives because they spoke against military or military supported current government. But showing "restrain" about India.

Yes, I saw the videos. Those are spent rocket motors. The warhead and seeker section are ahead of this section, and those are missing in those videos. But visible elsewhere at quite a distance. Meaning payload did do its job .

Judging by the size , it's a very huge motor.
No wonder these spent sections are being found 100 km inside India.
The missiles reached very far.
Plenty of brown seats in the Indian air force.

This is evidence of very active engagement of enemy targets by PAF.
Scoring a sustained lockon suitable for firing a missile at that distance, in itself is an achievement.

These loitering munitions themselves show that the IAF is dusted now! It means 100s of billions of $s - in terms of materials, human resources, training, doctrine etc. - gone down the drain. They've to start almost from the scratch with a new culture, vision, mission, doctrine etc. It means another 100s of billions of $s, and years after years. And, it's not yet possible to succeed unless they change the DNA of the Hindutva folks......

As for the PAF, whatever they do from now on will have an accumulative effect....

I know its been a few hours since DG ISPR did his Press Conference.

I have to say that I may not have been impressed with his past Pressers, however, today he did an outstanding job.

Some people here compare him to the past DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor, as if he was appointed by the (then) Government - of PTI.

What I noticed about the current one is that he too has a sense of humor that was welcomed & possibly noted by our friends across the border.

To Everyone Worried about Pakistan not responding, PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE. It is not easy to plan a retaliation, India is not just sitting there waiting to be attacked, a lot of things have to go right for a successful attack. The ISPR has continued to say that a retaliation WILL happen, so unless they take that back, please don’t lose hope, why is there such short temper? Believe in he armed forces of Pakistan, HAVE FAITH

You're not wrong. When Israel bombed the Iranian embassy in Syria it took Iran a long time for TP-1 and it took Israel a long time to respond to that. Then when Israel kille Hamas leader in Iran it was weeks before Iran launched TP-2 and quite a while for Israel to respond to that.

This may be a long wait for a Pakistan response.

I wanted to add one thing we are neighbouring country on brink of war. long wait should not be more than 1 week. just saying.

Yesterday was a funny day. I saw my cousin and his wife, along with his Indian friend and his wife, taking a long walk by the roadside. As I passed by, I joked, “Hey guys, there’s a war going on between your countries!” They all laughed and continued their walk.

For all those emotional members in a hurry of a response, let say Pakistan attacks now in haste, and looses a couple of pilots to India, can you imagine what will happen afterwards, we will loose all the momentum and narrative we gained in last few days. The morale will go down to zero, Indian propaganda will start to sound like facts.
I imagine 90%+ of the people hurrying for a response are PTI supporters.
