Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

There are satellite pictures flying around of Jammu airbase being hit.

Not sure if they are genuine.

If Pakistan did this, does it constitute retaliation?
More like self score no indication from our side

Has Pakistan declared rss a terrorist organisation. If not, then they should not strike rss locations as that will then have been deemed a civilian site!
Did india declare those kids as terrorists or identified them before strike? International rules only exists for certain set of people…. We have seen how international laws work on US, izeael and arabs…. Time to play out of book

JD Vance

Vice President JD Vance has said that the United States will not engage militarily in the escalating tensions between Pakistan and India, describing the conflict as "fundamentally none of our business."

Speaking to Fox news after a recent escalation between the two nuclear-armed neighbours, Vance said that while the US is urging both sides to de-escalate, it does not have the authority or responsibility to force either country to halt military operations.

“We’re not going to get involved in the middle of a war that has nothing to do with America’s ability to control it,” he said.

The statement comes in the wake of Indian armed forces launching coordinated missile, air, and drone attacks during the night of May 6–7, targeting multiple locations in Punjab and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, including Sialkot, Shakargarh, Muridke, Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad.

According to the Pakistani military, the attacks resulted in the deaths of at least 31 civilians, including women and children, and injured 71 others. Civilian infrastructure, including mosques and a hydropower facility, also sustained significant damage.

In response, the Pakistan Army launched a retaliatory operation, downing five Indian fighter jets and one combat drone.

The military spokesperson confirmed that the aircraft included three Rafale jets, one MiG-29, one SU-series aircraft, and an Israeli-made Heron drone. These were shot down over Bhatinda, Jammu, Akhnoor, Srinagar, and Avantipur, he maintained.

In the aftermath of the attacks, Pakistan’s National Security Committee (NSC) authorised the country’s armed forces to undertake corresponding military actions in response to what officials called “unprovoked aggression” and deliberate targeting of civilians.

The Pakistan army also intercepted and destroyed 30 Israeli-made Herop drones, sent by India to target civilian and military installations on Thursday.

The downed drones were detected over multiple cities, including Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Attock, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana, Ghotki and Karachi's Malir district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

We’re banned on that shyt platform anyway that’s full of indian call centre bots… and we cant stoop to their level either
I don't know why you are banned. I was able to freely express my opinions.
Anyhow, it is one of the most influencing platform, and Hindutva is taking full advantage of it in the absence of Pakistani narrative there.

Can you Imran fanbois stop bringing him into this topic? Some others also posted before you. Imran, the puppet, had no more power than the current puppets have. But you Imran fanbois give him all the credit for what happened in 2019 against India while also say that he didn't have real power. You guys blame America for his toppling, a false narrative which won him the popularity after his ouster but then he himself brushed off the American factor in an interview after his ouster and the Imran minions have been spending a lot of money IN America to get him out of prison!
I can shred your narrative to bits. Suffice to say, your attempt to under handedly bring him out of prison using the conflict with India is not going to succeed currently, as the Pakistani nation is solidly behind its military anyway, and the only scenario I'd support him out of prison would be IF and WHEN a mass mobilization to attack India would be needed. Until then--adios!

Be with truth. ALWAYS support national unity, always support the oppressed, always raise voice against the WRONG. and most importantly, Always support Will of the nation!

What kind of human would want to keep genuine leader imprisoned especially when ALL the cases against him are baseless. I am failing to understand the kind of mentality that accepts injustice and feels its okay the way it is just because it suits your political agenda. Its not hidden anymore, how blunderous approach is from your govt and your touts. All they are doing is making a case from first minute is to accept india's dominance and accept humiliation of our sovereignty.

You will change your mindset only if you think about all this in a neutral way. You got to rid yourself from the bias that you have somehow believed in.

let me guess, still waiting for time of our choosing?
I support Pakistan, I supported those who provide insight into what's going on, and supported those who claim be patience our response will come, if and i repeat if the response don't come i will call you out here, that include some Mods, tu bura nai mane ga.

They said they attacked terrorist locations, and gave an alphabet soup of terrorist organisations that they claimed were there.

Optics are important for Pakistan. If the intent is there, then declare them as terrorist organisations first or shut up about RSS.

On a serious note we need Anza(cheap) like platform guided by a radar or bot for auto scout and shoot…..

Seems like PAF has established air superiority, IAF looks like it's grounded, perfect chance to exact a response.
Still response should be standoff weapons, India has a dense and well layered ADS. No need to unnecessarily risk PAF birds….

Firstly Pak should declare RSS a terrorist organisation and behind bombings and recent terrorist incidents, then hit their HQ..

Indians should have never been given a masterpiece like the Rafale.
Agree but I will add more into it
The failure of Indian fighter jets against Pakistan’s jets—whether due to poor training, emotional decisions, or Pakistan’s clever tactics—was a serious blow to Western technology. Because on the battlefield, India was essentially representing Western military systems.

This happened at a time when the world is already in the midst of a major trade war. India’s strategic blunders not only damaged its own air force but also undermined the credibility of Western arms manufacturers. Now, their traditional buyers are shifting toward China, and the Chinese defense industry is set to rise rapidly. Pakistan’s defense industry will also benefit from this shift.

Just as Turkey proved its capabilities in drone warfare, Pakistan and China are now emerging as leaders in electronic warfare and kinetic strike technology. This marks a major diplomatic and military gain for both Pakistan and China—and could very well signal long-term embarrassment and strategic decline for both India and the West.

At this point, I am more inclined to believe that China has been paying some news agencies to craft articles in a way that gives China most of the credit.

It is better that way, keeping low profile and kicking ass is always good combination.
