I assure u on two thing..
one:
Indians by default... educated or uneducated .. hate pakistan. the level is different. some may hate.. some may despise and others may be just not in favor of pakistan. education and distance from hindu media helps decrease the level.
second:
unless proven otherwise.. not by words or by statements but by actions... unless proven otherwise, don't trust Indian Muslims. They are different infront and behind you.. in the company of non-Indians and Indians... in the company of Indian Muslims and indian non-muslims.

That's not a theatre the Indians want to touch except in the event of total war.

Pakistan's navy has massively transformed within the last few decades. It's now an extremely potent defensive navy, backed by a ton of brand new anti-ship and anti-sub systems.

at best for India, the IN would not be able to recover for decades upon decades, if it attempted to take on the PN and somehow won -it would essentially be a pyrrhic victory-. At worst for India, PN wipes like the PAF just did over Kashmir, and the IN would never recover in general.

Either way, it's in India's best interest to keep it's navy away from the PN.
