You raise fair points Kevin and nobody is denying that. Pakistan's economy is on life support as you said, always has been and we cannot afford a war - never could.

But what is the alternative? let the Banyas walk over us?

Retaliation will hurt over economy. Will *not* retaliating benefit it?

Will not retaliating means your begging bowl gets filled on time.

No silver lining on that end -

After all “Its the economy stupid” might finally hit the establishment.

The entire world has elites running the show - except those elites realize that they fill their pockets a LOT more by feeding the cow, making it fatter, nurturing the middle class and then ruling it.

The third world colonial inheritance trash that is the elite society of Pakistan wants to make their maximum quick buck without giving anything back and then wants to live in London.

Pakistan has developed its own anti-ship missiles like SMASH, and its also adopted a whole host of Chinese AshMs as well. There's a wiki article on PN's inventory (which may not be up to date or even complete, but is eye opening).

PN of the past was nothing compared to the current PN. It's like comparing a Child swinging a toy sword against an adult with a machine gun.
