Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

I found the gun system India had upgraded by Israel about 6-7 years ago, for use against drones:

Everyone is looking at cannon based air defenses against drone swarms, along side soft kill methods like EW.

Pakistani diplomats, I hope led by Moeed Yusuf, when they next meet with Trump’s team, should bring up to Trump that it was the US, under the leadership of the Hero of WW2 General Eisenhower, (President during the 50s when America was seen as at its greatest power) that India and Pakistan agreed to the Indus Water Treaty. The US even kicked in a lot of money, at the time to see the deal through, and that perhaps India’s actions to undermine the treaty are an affront to the US.

The US also provided India massive Grain aid, when it was needed the most, as well as support via the green revolution, with no gratitude.

I wish I could make better sense of it, however it's beyond my scope of comprehension to confidently explain, indeed if it is at all comprehensible
U don't have to understand it all as if u were an architect of the system urself...
...u could just consider it in broader terms.
One of the reasons PAF has been so effective against IAF not just recently but also back in 2019 and before that...
...isn't just bcuz of J10C or PL15. If acquiring a shiny new toy could give u an edge...then India would have had it with Rafale and meteor, or Su30MKI before that...and so on.

One of the major reasons is that...
It had more to do with PAF's ability to correctly look ahead...as what's to come...predict correctly how future battles will be fought...and prepare accordingly.
This has been a journey rather than purchasing the shiniest toy on the market...here is one example
Project Vision

PAF worked hard to create a network that pools together all the information from the sensors. This means everything that the ground radars, airborne jets(radars of AWACS/fighter jets/IRST sensors), drones...everything that they pick up ..is compiled together as a RAP(recognized air picture)...
...PAF went on to develop its own data link
...PAF improved upon the initial project Vision by integrating air defense systems(I assume PA's air defense systems are also part of it).

So for example a Chinese radar and an American radar...aren't operating in their respective bubble...same goes for Chinese jets(J10), American jets(F16), or French(Mirages). If that was ever the case...it would be hopeless for PAF.

PN and PA have also progressed similarly and all 3 branches have strived for better integration.

There were even tweets(unverified) that PL15s were guided by other assets(not the launch platform...perhaps AWACS)...this too...not long ago was considered a futuristic concept. It was merely proposed/talked about in the last 20 or so years.

Then there's the IADS(Integrated Air Defense systems)...threat assessment, classification...destroying incoming missiles/drones that posed the most threats...using soft kill(jamming, GPS spoofing) and hard kill methods...not engaging(wasting an expensive air defense missiles) if a projectile was to fall in a non populated area. All the while ensuring that only enemy targets are engaged by air defenses...so there's no friendly fire...
...all a result of those efforts spanning decades.

Basically...all the systems...ideally should operate together...painting a complete picture, coordinating all efforts to yield maximum effect.

Tharoor has been given the mission to do some eloquent and well articulated Pakistan bashing

He is the poor man's Modi. No glass cut English accent or Oxbridge degree can polish the Modi turd. Guy pushed his wife to suicide.

Good luck India

If rumours are to be believed, then he has no choice but to perform this duty.

I I am wondering what sort of platforms he might have to go on though, which will completely compromise his previous more inclusive, liberal and accommodating outlook.

Also, the thing with this guy is that his actual style and delivery can even overshadow the substance of what he says

Haryana-based YouTuber among 6 arrested for spying for Pakistan

Haryana-based YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra and five others have been arrested for sharing sensitive information with Pakistani intelligence operatives

I wonder what was so “sensitive” that a YouTuber could get their hands on. Probably not even like ex-military folks posting on war thunder to win arguments.

Truly unparalleled achievement by PAF. Nobody including US & Isreal have downed this quality of fighters in this quantity and at this speed. Genuine shock & aww. Made IAF look like a 2nd rate AF👍🏽
Both nations dealt with “Soviet” trained air forces. Pakistan is dealing with its own Soviet trained and equipped Air Force.
