I think after May 7th IAF must realise Tejas needs to be terminated, even they are not that dumb. It simply will not survive two minutes in current air combat scenarios

You are absolutely correct. IND should focus on building better satellites, electronic communication warfare, better drones and counter drone systems, longer range and even more accurate cruise missiles, AD systems etc.

@SoulSpokesman, I was not making a cheap jab in that case, but obviously the JF is up and running and the tejas is not, so on relative terms Pakistan would have a much more attractive proposition to any nation that might be interested in purchasing aircraft.
and naturally India would seek to undermine and undercut any strengthening of the paf image, but I don't see how they can possibly do this so there may be a good window for the paf right now to make hay while the sun shines. If they have the time for it of course.
@Yasser76 , I actually think the case for really focusing on delivering the tejas is even more strengthened, what other options really are left for India outside of American vassel hood. This of course depends, on India's regional stance, if it has insisted on perpetual skirmishes with Pakistan, and hostility to China then they have immediate needs they must fulfill.
therefore will always be chasing their tail in terms of developing the most serious indigenous capabilities.
Ultimately, and of course not that anyone let alone a lay person like me needs to say, is that the paf should continue to work hard on maintaining the technological edge. The proof of concept, and investment with Chinese doctrine has been more than validated, which exactly has been noted by Indonesia.
so it's now for once quite a nice position to be in for Pakistan, where they have access to real cutting edge technology, calibrated to an effective doctrine and optimised with real proven battle experience.
So, I called it a bit earlier, stop looking primarily for Western commentary and look East, Indonesia is a very important and serious country
