Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

₹ 40,000 crore emergency procurement is likely to be for

- Restocking the weapons used during Operation Sindoor
- Fresh procurement of systems that did well
- Procurement of new systems that seem necessary in the light of this skirmish

I guess these are likely to be additional Brahmos, Rampage, Scalp, Aakash AD, Ammunition for AD and artillery guns, Anti-Drone systems and Additional Harpy/Harop kind of drones.

Then there could be additional regiments of AD.

If one looks at this list 40,000 crores doesn’t sound too big of an allocation.
India has a very open procurement process. There would be ads in newspapers for most of the fresh procurement.

What is the legal status of LoC post Simla Agreement abolition?

There is LoC. Line of Control.
There is LAC. Line of Actual control.
on paper, as Asif Ghafoor even said we are back to pre 1948 status, now even further reinforced by latest Indian actions on IWT,however it will take time and aggression to actually do something and disturb the years long status quo.

I think the india who was itching for 3 front war finally have it and only their own terrorist activities to be blamed…
Pak and China might jointly take their territories illegally occupied by terrorist state india ..

Khwaja Asif not Asif Ghafoor.

I think there may be some truth that Pakistan may have captured some Indian forward posts. While India was busy in senseless bombing of civilian infrastructure, Pakistan may have recaptured some of the occupied territory. Reports suggest India took massive personnel losses along the defunct LoC.

Also if we back to 1948, Jinnahs call for Jihad on Kashmir becomes legally binding again.

I think it is getting a little sad to watch Indian channels breast beating even though I want to give credit to India's whatever freedom of press left compared with Pakistan. I suspect they are from the Indian Left / anti Modi side but they still portray a side of India worth watching and not because those voices would be amusing to your ears, but because, in a nation of 1.4 billion people, contrary voices are so vocally fewer.

This video is full of tears. It is too late in night here for me to summarize but English captions are available. I think the biggest takeaway would be that Americans have Indians by the balls from asking for trade concessions to UNSC Veto because India can no longer rely on an absolute Russia Veto in the UNSC. Oh boy!!!

It is not Modi but Trump who has caused all this shift in these policies.
Look at his statements on Europe, Canada and every other country. He has spared none.
Why should he display any love for India?

Indian foreign policy isn’t the best but is very good. They have treaded on a path seldom followed by anyone else.
The best part is that they haven’t shown any knee jerk reaction to anything and that has worked till now.

@Meengla sb,

My Pakistani brethren here have been telling me that IND lost and Modi went crying to world powers for a ceasefire but your leader Billo is singing a different tune:

Obviously, we've all come here and engaged on this mission with the hopes that by engaging international partners, just as they convinced Mr. Modi to agree to a ceasefire, they perhaps can convince the Modi government to agree to a comprehensive dialogue

So who is correct? Billo? Or my PDF brethren

Regards

In a written question submitted to the French Parliament by French parliamentarian Marc Savant, it was confirmed by intelligence data from American analysts and NATO partners that at least one Indian Rafale fighter jet was shot down by a PL-15E missile launched by a Pakistani J-10 CE equipped with KLJ-10A active phased array radar. It is clear that Rafale's SPECTRA electronic warfare system did not work... Regarding this, has France made corresponding improvements to adapt to the new generation of active phased array radar and active guided air-to-air missilesimg-17491006464883abec76d8b57d41cc905eb878a4776711aa94ba1841c561bd7dbd72caf20bd40.jpg

He isn’t wrong but neither are you right.

Modi did not stop
But he was moving to a desperate move of escalation which caused the intervention.

Pakistan sent a signal to international folks of what it will do in case of such escalation

Those partners then told Modi he is a temu version of Netenyahu and India despite its massive potential isn’t Israel where the west is prepared to fight a quasi religious crusade to defend it.

Modi agreed to back down realizing no one of his hugging buddies were going to stop Pakistan from doing what it would do and he backed down.

Fair point. But escalate with what? The IAF was already grounded and India had already fired its bolt in the form of Brahmos.

Regards

Modi is still using it's proxies in Pakistan. While Pakistan will not use its proxy in India it seems
