It is a historical fact that India has militarily intervened only in Pakistan. While there have been military conflicts with China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), neither side has carried out a military intervention within the other’s territory.

Indians keep thinking we can’t reach out and touch their assets. Pakistan needs to aim for this capability, with conventional systems, within the next decade.
