We were talking in context of Pakistan and India, you stated Pakistan would benefit from Chinese manufacturing. My comment was in context of "yes you will benefit but how much will you be able to buy en masse from them". I don't understand how the current manufacturing capacities of Russia and India vs China is relevant here.
We are talking about affording weapons, wartime manufacturing i.e. economies of scale and TOT here

In times of war you can't rely on a foreign power to ship you spare parts and readymade weapons. Thus you'll need TOT and inhouse production.

What it boils down to is how many missiles you have. It does not matter where they are made. Can Pakistan count on massive Chinese help? Yes.

India can count on it;s own resources.

Why Shekar Gupta is worried about Chinese weapons when India won the war and Pakistan was humiliated? I mean his article soon after 10th may declared India clear victor. India intercepted all Fatah rockets but somehow Poonch was turned in to mini Gaza.

And no Shekar g, Pakistan didn't fire any cruise/ballistic missile. Maybe couple of CM400 from JF17 to hit S400 if you count that. Fatah are rockets, cannot call them missiles.

Asim Munir just stole his 5th star & has nothing to show for it. It'll make him desperate, dangerous

Asim Munir locked up Imran Khan, had his handmaiden parliament give himself an extended tenure. But the additional jingle of that fifth star will not change facts on the ground.

If Pakistan gets HQ19 then it only mean one thing, China will give huge discount on that. And nothing is off the table then. China is likely looking at timeline to get back Indian occupied Zangnan on eastern theater while on western theater Pakistan will take care of IoK.

Pravin worst nightmare is coming closer to reality. You know when even Gupta start writing like that it means RSS is shivering in fear.

Pakistan is also likely to get similar to better cruise missiles then brahmos from China. Next 5 years will be very interesting.

He still need to face the charges some day of derailing democracy, manipulating elections and ordering the killing of demonstrators on nov26. No matter what title he gets, Pakistanis will not forget nor will they forgive. I see a bad ending for him
