Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Visited a few Reddit forums like r/india and r/IndianDefense.

Some of the most wildly delusional takes I’ve ever come across that makes even X seem tame in comparison.

One user was going on about how F-16 jets were supposedly shot down, and how the U.S. was allegedly helping to cover it up to save face.

Honestly, I couldn’t stop laughing. But to be fair, I’d rather see them clinging to their delusions than actually owning up to their mistakes.
Reddit has degenerated into a rightwing toxic dunghole. Anti immigrant, anti Muslim, anti woman and pro Zionist. It's quite remarkable the shift in last five years. Only a few decent subreddits left.

26/11 Mumbai attacks marked the point when India began developing the Cold Start doctrine. It took years for India to build the capability to strike terrorists inside Pakistan—through military hardware procurement, and also by establishing a robust intelligence network inside Pakistan, with assistance from Iran and Afghanistan. Now, under Narendra Modi, India has taken its policy a step further: it has officially declared that the cost of any terrorist attack on Indian soil will be extracted not just from terrorist groups, but directly from the Pakistan military itself—moving beyond merely targeting terrorist infrastructure.
Fantasies of goofball bollywood Hindutva. Pakistan will increase the cost to India of any such adventures as proven in 2002, 2019, 2025.

these people are so toxic, you cannot even imagine, trolls you see here are like 'sophisticated' ones!

Can we have your address in UK so that you are the first one to depart in such a scenario? Or perhaps Brits should do the same in Britain?
Punitive strikes against the Pak military every time there's an attack by Kashmiri freedom fighters wont stop the attacks. There was very little damage to the Pak military. Things like buildings and equipment can be easily replaced, ideology can't. India will need to completely destroy the Pak military, or turn Pakistan into another Gaza or Afghanistan, and even that won't stop the attacks by the Kashmiri freedom fighters, if anything, it'll lead to the rise of more jihadi groups attacking india. Conversely, punitive strikes against the RSS brown short wearing boys and hindutva dalit tunnis won't stop the attacks in Balochistan, the indian political and military establishment will need to be completely destroyed. So where does that leave us? Either Pakistan destroys india, or vice versa. We can't keep the status quo because it's unsustainable.

Indian military and political leadership often dismisses Pakistan’s nuclear weapons as a bluff. I’m not sure whether they genuinely doubt Pakistan even has them, or if they believe those weapons can be neutralized in a war with India.
explain to me how Pak’s supposed Nuclear bluff was called out in operation Sindoor? Have you read out Pak’s Nuclear doctrine and Escalation Thresholds for Nuclear Response? For India to call out Pak’s Nuclear bluff , There has to be a certain degree of escalation .. Im sure i do not need to explain that to you. or you are naive enough to believe that few Brahmos landing at our airstrips will cause Pak to throw Nuclear bombs at india which Pak did nt hence in your eyes or many indians .. Bluff is called out 😂😂 Leave this forum immediately.. its not for your BS

In 2019, Wing Commander Abhinandan was in Pakistan’s custody, which is why India refrained from escalating the conflict further—securing his release was the top priority. However, in 2025, Pakistan had no such leverage, allowing India to carry out strikes on 11 airbases, radar sites, and other military installations across the length and breadth of the country. Once a conflict escalates beyond a certain point, even holding prisoners of war is no longer an effective tool for forcing a ceasefire.

Now the latest is ....Indian Generals expecting another flase flag op ...

It seems an entire nation's strategy can be held to ransom with a single person.

Israel could not even neutralize Iranian nuke sites without the help of US and you think India can neutralize 100 Pakistani nukes scattered across Pakistan? Keep believing that story until New Delhi turns into a 🍄 ☁️

a moment of silence for indian trolls!

I hope so, Because India is by no means escalation-averse—neither the public, the media, nor the political leadership. In fact, there was significant public anger towards Modi after the ceasefire announcement with Pakistan.
This is exactly my point. Countries will interfere but might not be able to stop war next time. too many redlines have been crossed. some are known to public in india and pakistan and some don't. Chances of nuclear war are 70% to 80%. Bjp put the people of india in this path. now they can't stop indian public. It's not possible for us to wait for indian attack again and again. it makes us vulnerable and predictable. As i said earlier, Indian intentions can only be known minutes before launch. If they launch, that is failure and should be considered a failure on our side. It doesn't matter if you hit a tree or a mosque, point is pak will never allow it to become a new normal.

We are a nuclear state and possess nuclear weapons. India is copying Israel so India might go for our nuclear assets after some series of small wars. This is why it's important for us to break ROE and do what we do best. These small wars are a proper planning of Indian intelligence to test response of Pak armed forces. Predictable reaction from our side will help India. That is why it shouldn't be allowed to become a new normal.
