Off topic but a response to you is necessary.
You are glossing over the details. The situation in Manipur is much more horrific than the outside world is allowed to know.
There are heinous crimes being committed against women, and torture and beheadings against innocent civilians,
Even in the worst instances of the terrorist activity in Baluchistan or KP , women have not been gang raped or paraded naked
I don't know how this topic is relevant in this thread and why exactly you're tagging me but this was a nationally condemned topic back when it occurred 2yrs ago in 2023.
Since then President's Rule has been imposed and Central Forces have been deployed to the region.
Manipur is an ethnic conflict. It will still take a couple of years to simmer down. Both sides have some caches of arms and armed groups, Meitei's (Hindu) major armed group was recently disbanded, there were protests due to that but it's a normal process. Barring some sporadic spurts of violence I don't see anything major happening.
FMR with Myanmar has been highly regulated.
Also it's pointless to compare ethnic conflicts on the basis of brutality/violence. Discussing the scope and events is a way more mature stand. No single event can be picked and compared.
