As to the cynics about this foreign policy or other developments: Just 8-10 years ago, China used to be like 'Please get along with each other' when it came to India-Pakistan. Turkey used to offer basically lip support but now rushes military support to Pakistan in crunch time. Azerbaijan was distant but recently offered vocal diplomatic support--and possibly some concessional oil. Saudi Arabia was not commital about Pakistan-India but signed the Mutual Defense Treaty. Iran was semi-hostile but is certainly far from that.
Some people live in the past too much--just because things didn't work in the past doesn't mean they won't work in the future as well. And then there are those in this forum--not saying you are one of those--who can't think beyond their political bias.
To me it is obvious that Pakistan's diplomacy is doing great and that's no small thanks to Modi's Operation Sindoor folly.

And I forgot to mention Trump's recent warming up to Pakistan--however transitory that may become-- especially compared with Trump's first administration. Then there are also Pakistan and other GCC countries rapidly improving relationships.

In case of India, it could just be words of comfort, ensuring that RAW wouldn't be allowed to run covert activities through Chahbahar.

However, it could be significant in case of Afghanistan, as it requires Iran to enforce the other pincer of the 'unofficial blockade' to pressure Talibs into listening to us on the issue of terrorists.

Iranian govt and people have not love for the Afghans: They just ruthlessly kicked out Afghans from Iran. The Chabahar route would be very costly anyway and it would be small concession for Iran to give to Pakistan to help Pakistan against Afghanistan. Also, some days ago the analyst Hassan Khan posted a video where he said not only Chabahar much more costly than going through Pakistan but also Turkmenistan, which would be even more costly, doesn't allow Afghan trade to through its own ports.
A landlocked country like Afghanistan has its leaders alienating all the sea routes neighbors. Just Brilliant!

Both Iran and Pakistan face the real prospect of simultaneous co-ordinated attacks in the very near future from Israel and India, where both India and Israel are working together to co-ordinate those attacks. That is not lost on either Iran or Pakistan.

Circumstances can make for strange bedfellows, and right now both Pakistan and Iran need each other.

This is a very significant thread! I believe Pakistan won the admiration and trust of the Iranian people and leadership when Pakistan stood with Iran against the Israeli attack in June 2025 AND that General Asim Munir, in his 'Private Lunch' with President Trump, stood for Iran.
This is a major diplomatic breakthrough for Pakistan on top of many others in the year 2025.

People have forgotten that the US froze financial aid to Pakistan in 2016.

Pakistan has made significant changes since then and has not had to rely on any such financial aid from the US. Pakistan standing up on its own has brought Pakistan great respect and honour from all over the world.

Iran getting directly attacked by Zion and the US shook them and finally made them realise they're no longer a regional power.

Afghanistan has been surviving on US charity since August 2021 and regressing as much as possible, eagerly waiting for their next civil war.

India, since it got beaten to pulp by Pakistan in the May 2025 conflict, is all confused and dazed, and is struggling to understand what's happening in the world.

China/US have chosen Pakistan as the focal point for South, Central and Western Asia.

Saudi Arabia is the cherry on top.

No matter which route the Afghan choose, their aim is still to reach the Pakistani market for majority of their exports.

Ask the Iranian brothers and sisters why they appreciated Pakistan's diplomatic support.

You say hundreds of Iranians were killed and Pakistan nominated Donald Trump as a reward.

Did the US kill hundreds of Iranians? Did the nomination prevent killing tens of thousands to millions of Iranian people? It was a very bad situation at that time and we don't know what the US was threatening Iran with.

Nah, i dont trust the iranians at all. These “breakthroughs” happen every year and Iran continues to back stab us at every opportunity they get.

Israel were about to nuke Iran.

Pakistan used its influence to push for a more conservative and targeted attack despite Iran signing deals with India on the eve of their attack on Pakistan and smirking at the signing ceremony.

They didn't have to do this and Iran know this which is why they feel obliged to return the favour.

What does Iran think of the Pakistan-KSA defence pact, which is ostensibly for Israel but also includes Iran. And if the rumors are true, the pact includes Pakistan making its nuclear weapons available for Saudi Arabia if requested.

Iran is still licking its wounds from Israel’s attacks, the weakening of its proxies across the region, a weakening economy, and a water crisis to boot.

Starting to look like Iran is pausing to regroup. Doesn't mean Iran is giving Pakistan a blank check.

Just look at the foreign engagements in last 5-6 months. There are plenty of diplomatic engagements and I don't think leaders of some important countries would be visiting or entertaining Pakistani delegates unless it was worth their time. Many countries have known Pakistan to be engaging only to get some $$ out of them but things have changed now--drastically changed. And may the changes get better and better.
