Maybe we are being way too negative about one another, first the Arabs would never lift a finger and then secondly that Pak is rent an army.
I would certainly criticize an onerous or unbalanced agreement but we have not even given it a chance.....
Plus I think people cannot interpret the nuance I am afraid, for example the wording of aggression against one will be considered as aggression against the other.

.with no other wording around obligation to commit manpower or resources leaves much room for interpretation, as well as aggression.
The NATO article 5 wording is less ambiguous........, an attack on one is treated as an attack against all

There is nothing strange about it. Alliances between the countries are not built on emotions. They are built on interests, instead. Pakistan can always deny the call if it doesn't suits them.

I do know that Pakistan Army was part of the coalition, but are numbers were low. PAF wasn't present. Infact, back then it was just the US & UK at the time doing all the strikes.
Either way the ban on our people goes beyond a decade.
