Perhaps not, but, even if they did, I don't think India would be interested. They have a long-standing policy of staying out of formal alliances. It did appear the UAE wanted to have a closer and more formal military alliance ,with India, but it was India that resisted getting too close, probably to keep their options open with the Saudis and Iran.
Utter rubbish, I wish Pakistanis would spend 10% of their time reading as they do on commenting. Rather then rehash the media narrative statements designed to define a non-existence reality.
India has never been non-aligned.
India has never been secular.
India have never been anything except a extremist Hindu nation, full-stop.
Before having the guts to attack Pakistan in 1971, nearly 5000km from Pakistan capital, few months prior, they signed a India-Soviet Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation which in effect was a defence pact and a formal treaty, merely four months before they attacked in December.
That's a formal alliance, a treaty. It was renewed with Russia in the early 1990s. India has been sitting in the Soviet lap since India was created in 1947.
I just wish Pakistanis stop following what they hear and spend just a little, a tiny little bit of their time in independent research and independent reading rather then repeating lazy incorrect narratives.
Over the previous decade or so India has been signing various Foundational Military agreements with America, which amount to a treaty alliance, no matter how you word it.
Before India was a Soviet poodle, now India is an American poodle. That's only difference.
General Security of Military Information Agreement. (GSOMIA)
Logistics Agreement Memorandum of Agreement (LEMOA)
Communications Compatibility and Security Agreement (COMCASA)
Basic Exchange and Cooperation Agreement (Beca)
It has many other agreements with America, please search yourself it's not difficult in this age, bunch of treaties which combined amount to a formal alliance. The only difference being it's one way, America decides how they function in reality while India is the poodle on a leash.
Apologies for directness but I am tired of Pakistanis repeating Indian lies because they don't spend time just reading, or just paying attention to facts.
