Pakistan - Middle East Relationship News

And this is the time to prove the worth of Defense deal too.

Of course we all know Riyadh has no army to support Pakistan, nobody expects them to send armies here ... but oil supply and Financial Support is what will help Pakistan overwhelm India and make any war real painful for them.

That is where Riyadh's Defense Agreement will count. The timing is very up to the mark.

In the event of hostilities, they do have a very well equipped air force that they could send to Pakistan, if just one squadron, it will be significant for optics.

What about ALL the corruption, mismanagement and all the side-effects of all that?? When are the people getting healthcare, decent employment, education, and food/shelter/cleanwater basics ???

Riyadh ke chakkar laga laga k b abi tak farq nahi pera awaam ko......

Corruption ko kaun aur kab khatam kerayga?? When will the looting stop by ALL the turds in leadership positions ??

i doubt if it will ever happen, rather they will be putting pressure on Pak to not harm/destroy their indian investments.......

thats the reality

memoranda of understanding (MoU) for an electricity interconnection project between the two countries

Shahbaz Sharif was a day away from being convicted until Bajwa decided to install him as a PM. And then form 47 elections happened and here we are.

There are multiple threads where Bajwa, Faiz, IK are being blamed for Afghan policy like it all happened in a span of 3-4 years. These strategic mistakes are a result of establishment blunders and politicians have very little do with it (be in PPP, PMLN or whoever).

Coming back to the topic, Shahbaz is on orders to visit Riyadh every now and then to remind the Saudis of the supposed deal that was signed. To his credit he is doing his best.

But historically a change of COAS here, and American guarantees for Saudis and this deal would be history.

Feeding on POTUS ego and nominating him for Nobel Peace price may get you tactical wins but a reset is already happening with US and India making amends. And then what?

Always has been a problem with Pakistan. Short term thinking and an absence of strategic thinking to make sure things take a turn for the better. A simple cause and effect when one doesn’t let institutions maintain continuity.

The Saudis are pivoting to be AI data centers - expecting $140 billion from just that(provided they can manage water for cooling).

They can see the pivot to an extent. Pakistan has all the talent to send and help set this up even if they shut up under a semi qualified Saudi.
However, I would be surprised if SS or AM even have the mind to think of it. Their best imagination stops at materials and land.
Pakistan is going for her own AI data centers , she doesn't have enough IT professional to meet her own growing needs.... you need to brush up your info streams.

How can anyone take this certified money launderer and corrupt thief seriously. The Saudis must have hand their hands on their wallets ensuring this little chor will not be able to rob them blind as he has done so shamelessly his own poor people to the tune of billions.

The only strategic asset Pakistan has is its tens of millions of people. From day one, they are of little relevance to its ruling elites

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Jordan’s King Abdullah II on Saturday affirmed “zero-tolerance” for any displacement of Palestinians from the besieged Gaza Strip in the aftermath of the devastating military onslaught by Israel in the territory.

The two countries were among the eight Muslim countries that worked with United States President Donald Trump’s administration on a plan to end Israel’s genocide and invasion in Gaza last month. They also joined other key Muslim and Arab states on Friday in expressing support for a US resolution that seeks to deploy an international stabilisation force in Gaza.

The prime minister and Jordanian king held a bilateral meeting today at the PM House after the latter arrived in Pakistan for a two-day state visit.

A statement issued from the Prime Minister’s Office on the meeting said: “On the issue of Palestine, both leaders acknowledged the unanimity of views and principled positions taken by Pakistan and Jordan regarding the post-war Gaza; zero-tolerance for any displacement of Palestinians from Gaza. The two leaders agreed to enhance coordination among the eight Arab Islamic countries that are working with the US on the Gaza ceasefire and the Gaza Peace Plan signed in Sharm el Sheikh.”

King Abdullah II also praised Pakistan’s consistent support for Jordan’s role in regional stability and humanitarian efforts during the Gaza conflict, as well as for the territory after the ceasefire.
