Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

@Quwa would it be possible to invite the deterrent from old PDF and Mansoor Ahmed (old old PDF/PakDef member) to your podcast to discuss Pakistani missile program?
That would be very interesting, as well inviting some ex-service personnel, like Air Commodore Kaiser Tufail. Maybe even Alan Warnes!? :)

@Quwa, incidentally, I remember what happened to you on the old PakDef forum regarding the topic of Türkiye, goes to show how things have changed, but how mindsets are more difficult to change.

You know I went through deterrents posts according his analysis all the Shaheen series is 100%, other informed members here on PDF hold different opinion, quite confused regarding this matter

Dude really ur gonna take the word of these guys.
By going this logic Shaheen is also hypersonic even ghauri is hypersonic than.
Hypersonic either HGV or HCM. Nothing else

Looking at the new operational Hypersonics of china it's safe to say that we gonna be getting DF17,
In comparison to all of them DF17 looks decades old tech.

We might get Tayfun tech from Turkiye first. DF-17 in its current capacity will never be given to Pakistan. Pakistan may acquire the tech and build HGV itself.

Don't forget, we were seeking higher powered missile engines and Biden administration nearly declared us an "enemy" based on Indian propaganda that we were going to build 10000 KM missile and hypersonic tech to threaten the US. So, no nation will give such equipment to Pakistan that's considered long range. We'll have to build it ourselves. This happened in Biden's last month, in Dec 2024!

I think it will be more of a paint job remaning initially they are higher chance we might get a batch speculation on my part. I don't think we have enough industrial capacity or such higher CNCs for making such a missiles, materials used wouldn't like other missiles but in the long run it is possible, I almost forgot the Turkish option.
Quite possible that this can, tayfun also has dual launch capability something. Hopefully we get something from those two.
It would be quite efficient if pak and turkey develop it togather costs can cut and all the other stuff that the Chinese will never agree too.

@Panzerkiel
Sir what to expect from tomorrow's NOTAM.
Southern one ain't big enough for a missiles test, it's the Central one which due tomorrow.

Our progression in missile development was curtailed to some extent due to regular U.S sanctions

Bro can you clarify. 100% of what?
All those missiles are 100% made in Pak, while some members have discussing they are hardly 20-30% Pakistani origin. Rest parts r either smuggled or procured from china.

If India is building ICBM, claiming they will be used on a trajectory to lob bunker busters against Pakistan or China, does Pakistan intent to justify an ICBM program similarly?

If you're talking about Deterrent the nuclear history researcher, he's already agreed, will come in Season 2 though due to prep and scheduling.

I'm down with bringing Deterrent, but I don't have a way to get in touch with him.

Yes, that's why I said there is no way DF-17 is coming to Pakistan. We'll get the tech and either build it ourselves, or, indigenize a lower range weapon system like the Tayfun and later expand the range. The range should be easy part as we have a very established missile program for decades.
