Will we see Shaheen 1A in this command or a new Family BMs is being developed for it??.
Surely Shaheen series as been branded strategic weapons by pak.
Would love see S1As bang the hell out of Jaipur, Agra and Gawailor.
Even the mirages got strike India in post 1971 era, S series sadly hasn't had the pleasure of doing so.

Bro.. i was visiting an indian forum and some dudes were taking about the suspicion of Us firing SHAHEEN into India or delhi precisely..while this claim is false and was corrected by our MEA...you hinted about we striking something with long range vectors...some members were saying it was a fatah 2 which probably it was..but a member said that the Pakistanis probably had ballistic missiles with conventional warhead before the war which they used...idk if its lies/false bravado or what but its just making me very curious what were those long range things??

If they could fire a non nuclear warhead via Brahmos, why shouldn't we have fired a non nuclear long range BM? It was very real, we had their several important and vital economic targets next on our list...

YJ-17, Ship launched, anti-ship hypersonic glide vehicle.

With a range of 1500km, the warhead is estimated in the 300kg class, pulverizing targets with a terminal velocity of Mach 6 to 8.

The YJ-17 is much more maneuverable than the larger land based DF-17 HGV, because the controls surfaces on the YJ-17 is inside the Mach cone of the missile, placing smaller strain and better control for evasive maneuvers.

They can be packed into the Vertical Launch Systems VLS of Chinese destroyers, turning our surface fleet into potent strike platforms.

What I wrote above is a tweet of a Chinese guy on twitter. Could be dam good addition for us. Due to range and speed plus can be fired from ships. Get it with TOT

Very good but why china gave it to you? that too TOT? means they put their money and effort and developed these and they will just share that with us? why?

So we can make sure our common enemy stays busy with us, plus we can keep our sea route open which is also crucial to China's National Security.

Was that long range BM an offshoot of Shaheen family?.
